The Void is a place for my more intimate emotions. The majority of them appeared to be pretty negative. The Void is ruled by Indecisiveness and Insecurity: offspring of Sadness and Fear. Closely related to Mistrust, Insecurity is responsible for the nagging and unanswered questions in my brain. These questions, just for example, are:
°Will my loved ones be ok?
°Will I end up empty-handed when I stand before my Master? And
°Am I sure that I'm doing the right thing?
Indecisiveness, on the other hand, has a great many questions far too vast and personal to list. But unlike Insecurity, its questions have no sure answer to them. Indecisiveness is mainly responsible for clouding the brain, and is more associated with Anxiety than Premonition.
But the negative emotions only rule the Void because of what the world subjects the brain to. If the brain were left more sheltered, more alone, more innocent and happy...perhaps the negatives wouldn't rule at all, but rather be ruled themselves by the positive feelings.
Which brings me to the positives. In the Void, certain emotions are separated from other parts of the brain. These emotions run deeper than most other negative or positive emotions, hence why they're stored in the Void.
The positive emotions that slave under Insecurity and Indecisiveness are Hope, Meekness, Deep Love, and Spirituality. They rarely, if ever, break free from the Void. Any voice they have are drowned out by the negatives' drone, being too weak to sustain themselves or fight back against Fear and Sadness' heirs.
It may seem like a miracle that these positive emotions exist at all, given the individual they reside in. However their wild card, a shred of a larger yet lost piece known as Humanity, helps them survive just enough to remain buoyant in the Void.
Once in better days, Hope's brother Faith had ruled the Void because Humanity was still in one piece. But Faith was badly weakened and hurt by Wrath and his accomplice Chaos. Wrath and Chaos were merely the hypemen of Insecurity and Indecisiveness, but they were still destructive enough to cause permanent damage to the Void.
During the conflict, Innocence was beaten and killed. The positives wept bitterly and sobbed for her while the negatives rejoiced. Faith lay by Innocence's side during her final moments, promising...no, SWEARING to her that he'd find a way to bring her back, so that together they'd take back the Void and bring harmony to it once more.
But for now...it is but an unspoken dream for the positives. A wish they vainly yet admirably reach for despite their bleak circumstances.
