Error didn't like being yelled at, but Error couldn't help but get yelled at, and sometimes he honestly deserved it. Error knew a cat called Sol. Well, they had known each other for about a moon and a half but still Error needed to follow Sol. He needed to make sure she wasn't getting murdered, he needed to protect her. Ever since he had been kicked out of the Flame Tribe two moons ago, he had lived by himself in the forest. The whole tribe thought he didn't have any powers because he needed to hide them like his best friend, Shadow. Well, he had thought Shadow was his best friend until he didn't even care when Error was getting kicked out. But still, when they first met, Error thought that shadow would insult Error for not having a power, but instead, Shadow wanted to be his friend! The nice part was Shadow had a brother too, Silver.
Error's brothers were so surprised when Error told them. Well Geno was. Errors family was the most terrifying in the tribe, so all the members had names like rattlesnakes.
Error was the only one in his family who didn't have a name like that. Error's older brother, Geno's name was to mean Genocide, and his younger brother's name was Chaos, but everybody called him Oz because he was SO funny, and well it was his nick name. When Oz got his powers, his family loved him. Well, most of them. Behind the puny, "Oz" mask he had no emotion whatsoever, only Error and Geno knew that. Error hated him Oz. Error knew should have been nicer to him, but still, of course, he didn't like him one bit.
"Error!"
Error snapped back from his thoughts and looked at the other black cat that was yelling at him.
"Yeah Sol?" Error said in a calm voice.
"Don't 'yeah Sol' me" Sol said, mimicking his voice and tone. "Did you hear anything I just said?!"
"Yep. Totally." Error said winding a piece of string he had made with his magic through his claws.
Sol sighed "I'm just gonna go. AND PLEASE STOP FOLLOWING ME!" Sol said trotting of. "it's not my fault if you get caught by Ice Tribe."
"Kay," Error called getting up to start following her. Again.
Sol
The wind rustled the trees making what seemed like a song mixed with the sounds of the rushing water of the Wind River in Ice Tribe territory as Sol stocked through the undergrowth looking for pray. She stopped just in front a river and peered down into the water. She sat there, looking into the water, her wings ruffling slightly with the wind in her reflection. This had happened before. She had looked at her reflection in the water only to jump back when she saw herself with raven black wings coming out of her back right behind her shoulders. She stared into the river with her cold, dark, almost black eyes burning with hate and fear.
"Sol!"
Sol spun around to see Error. Like Sol, he had something odd with his face. He had red marks running down his cheeks, so it always looked like he was bleeding.
"No, you weren't coming here, you followed me again," Sol replied, not taking her eyes off the water.
The tom looked down at Sol's reflection. He stared as her wings- no- the wings flapped and shifted. Sol would NOT think of them as her wings. They where just one of those weird thing that happened to some cats. Mabey that was her magic, to see what other magics he had in other timelines. "Or maybe the world just hates me, and my reflection just wants to make me feel like I am a horrible cat and will never get powers" Sol thought bitterly.
"Umm," the tom fidgeted as Sol got up.
"I'm going hunting, And Error," Sol turned her neck to look at the tom. "If you keep following me, I will kill you."
