His eyes squinted, then looked up his phone for the time.
It was 4 PM.
Y/N : Wait what? Does that mean... Ow shit.
He called manager unnie while taking random clothes out of the closet.
*beep*
Manager : Yes?
Y/N : Yea sorry about not coming to work.. I just-
Manager : Jihyo told me everything.
Y/N : W-What? Like what do you mean... everything?
Manager : Just come here. The girls are finishing up for today, pick them up.
Y/N : On my way!
He drove his car quickly, but safely, while the JYP building was coming into sight.
Y/N ran to the lift and up to the practice room floors.
After that, he ran to Sana who was walking across the corridor with her eyes focused on her phone.
Y/N : Oh hello Sana! (smiles brightly)
Sana : Yea.. hey.. (not as cheerful as she usually is)
Y/N : What happened?
Sana : Nothing.. It's just.. nevermind.
Y/N's MIND
What happened? Did something happen to them? Or me? Did I do something that upsets them?
His mind flooded with those questions.
*On the practice room door*
Y/N : I'm here! What's up guys! (trying to light up the mood)
Nayeon : We were just finishing up here. (stands up and walks past Y/N)
Y/N : What is wrong with you guys?
Momo : Can't you see? We're all tired and exhausted.
Y/N : Not that, it's just you're all in a bad mood.
Mina : We are.
Y/N : Why? Is it because of me?
Jeongyeon : Take care of her, promise me. (serious tone)
Y/N : W-What? Did I say something? I don't recall saying anything last night-

OOHHH right. I was drunk last night. Could've said something weird.
Y/N : What did I say, Jeong?
Jeongyeon : It's better that you ask her right away. She's the one most affected by it.
Y/N : Is it that bad?
Chaeyoung : It is. And we're mad at you.
Y/N : Baby Chae... Why? Did I insult you guys?
Tzuyu : *shyly* You said something about you being hunted by-
Jeongyeon : Cut it off Tzu. Let him address this issue alone with Jihyo first.

*Last night, in the car*
Jihyo was driving the car while Y/N was half-asleep.
Y/N : D-Did you have f-f-fun, my love?
Jihyo : I sure did baby! (happy)
Y/N : GOOD! (screamed) T-That's what I w-want for you. To always be h-happy.
Jihyo : Awww! I'll try my best to always be happy, my dear.
At this moment, Y/N has more of a serious tone than he usually had.
Y/N: J-Ji. I-I want to tell you something.
Jihyo : Yea? What is it?
Y/N : I-I...
Jihyo : C'mon, you can tell me whatever!
Y/N : It's difficult... my life...
Jihyo : That's where I came in! I can always be there for you.

Jihyo : N-No you c-can't just do that.
Y/N : I can, and you have to let me go.
Jihyo : You're- k-kidding. (eyes swelling)
Y/N : I'll leave early next year.
Jihyo : Why are you telling me this?
Y/N : I-I don't k-know.
Jihyo : You're not going anywhere, I-I can promise that.
Y/N : I'll have to take up the responsibility alone. We'll meet, in the next life or another.
Jihyo : N-No. I'll follow you.
Y/N : As for now, I'm being hunted by a group of mercenaries that wanted me dead.
Jihyo : D-Dead?
Y/N : That's why it's a one-way trip for me.
Jihyo : I can't hear this anymore, you're drunk. None of this makes sense. This is all a lie. You're drunk. It's all alcohol.
Y/N : You have to let me go Jihyo.
Y/N : I'll fight my way out of hell, back into your arms once again.
*He started to fall asleep again*
Jihyo : N-No (lowering her head to the wheel)
Jihyo was stumbled by Y/N's truth-filled confession. She can't hear it anymore. She can't take it. Tears forming, heart's beating even faster, mind covered with all sorts of things.
Her body felt like it was falling through the driver's seat, weaken, as she almost fainted.
She just wanted to let go of the steering wheel, as if her life was meaningless.
These moments with Y/N, she can't let go of it. But then, she couldn't have a word about his decision. That's what makes her miserable.
All of that happened while she was driving home with a drunk man who was ready to leave her and die.
Jihyo kept her feelings onto herself and drove them both back home safely.
Y/N was so drunk that he fell asleep after that "talk" they both had.
So Jihyo woke him up till he was able to stand on his two feet, and carried him back to his room.
JIHYO POV
What is happening... I thought my life was coming back together after all this...
