A/N: Hey so I haven't worked on this preferences and imagines book in about 2 years! I completely forgot it existed. But anyways, I'm trying to get back into writing this summer and I thought of this idea the other day so if you have any requests for any character, leave them in the comments or DM me! :)

This takes place before the big battle in Captain America: Civil War. You have water and ice powers by the way!

Your POV:

I sat on my bed, amongst a pile of clothes and blankets, staring at the wall. I could hear the soft crackle of the old TV in the background; but I couldn't hear the words, I was too ensconced in my own thoughts to hear any of it. My legs were crossed and my nails scratched them relentlessly as I attempted to slow my mind down, to take my mind off of things; off of him,

"You do know you're supposed to watch the TV right?" a sarcastic voice said from the distance. A voice that I was familiar with; too much so over the last while. My head shot up to see Tony standing in my doorway, leaning against the doorframe. "Yeah well it's kind of hard to watch it when I've been in here watching it for days," I said snappily, not wanting to come off as rude, but I was so sick of being in here and not being able to socialize with anyone. Tony slowly paced across the room and sat down beside me on my bed. "Look, Icicles," Tony said with a sigh, "I'm trying my best here. Can't you see that?" I winced at the nickname. What was once a cherished name that used to be used in conversations with team as we laughed with each other, now felt like venom to hear. Ever since the team split up, I had been kept under close surveillance. Because I had a special connection with him,

I realized now that I hadn't said anything an Tony was still looking at me expectantly. With a small smirk, he reached out his arm to place it over my shoulders but I jumped up from my bed with a jolt. Tony's face contorted in confusion at your sudden outburst. "No! You don't get to sit here and act like you know what's best for me. Where is Bucky?" I shouted angrily, "you and I both know that he would never kill King T'Chaka. You have no evidence to prove it's him." Tony was now on his feet too, "Look, all you need to know is that he's done bad things and needs to be held accountable for them," he said, keeping his calm demeanor, trying not to upset me further,

"Bullshit! I know you know where he is. Because you wouldn't be as calm as you are now if you didn't have some sort of advantage," I yelled, pointing my finger at him, angry tears slowly beginning to form in my eyes, thinking about him. Tony slowly looked to the floor, still keeping his composure. "We do have an advantage," Tony said quietly. "Oh really?! And what could that possibly be?" I said sarcastically, anger laced in my voice, laughing. "You," Tony said, looking at you now, sadness and regret visible in his eyes. "I didn't want to do this Y/N but I'm doing what's best for you, you have to understand that," Tony said, sounding disappointed almost, as he rolled his shirt sleeve up slightly, clicking a few buttons on his watch. "What- wait- what are you talking about? You didn't want to do what exactly?" I said confused, looking at him, waiting for him to respond. I kept looking between him and his watch, trying to see what he was doing but to no avail,

Suddenly, there was rummaging in the hall outside my room and three agents in black suits walked in simultaneously. I immediately adopted a defensive stance, still confused at what was going on. "What is going on Tony? Who are these people?" I said, trying to act tough, but I couldn't stop my voice from shaking slightly due to my nerves. "Just relax Y/N," Tony said, looking at you, hands outstretched in an attempt to calm you down from your tense state,

The agents began walking towards you and before you could respond or realize what was happening, two of the agents were holding you down by your arms. You immediately began to fight back as you thrashed against the unfamiliar agents. "What the hell! Tony tell them to stop," I screamed and looked to him as he stood there, trying not to look at the scene unfolding in front of him,

Before you could register what else to do, you felt something clamp itself around your neck. Tears were now streaming down your face as you continued to fight. Suddenly, the harsh grip on your arms was gone and you were in a heap on the floor. Your hands darted up to gingerly touch your neck to identify the unknown contraption. But as soon as you touched it gently, you jolted in pain as multiple of electric shocks pulsed through your body making you shout in pain. You tried to steady your breathing as your body tried to come to terms with what just happened. "Did you just. Did you just shock me, Stark?" I said weakly, due to my body being overwhelmed by the shocks, but my words were as strong as ever. Tony physically winced hearing you call him by his surname. This was the first time you had called him Stark and he didn't like it, especially not in this situation,

"Y/N I'm sorry. But we need you on this team. It's for your own protection," Tony said, turning on his heel to walk towards the door. "Wait! I'm not done with you yet Stark!" I yelled as I jolted up off the floor and ran, as much as possible, in the direction of my bedroom door. Tony looked at me pitifully before pressing a button on his watch. All of a sudden, I was on the floor, writhing from another electric shock. "Don't resist Y/N please. It pains me to do it just as much as it pains you to feel it," Tony said regretfully, before closing the door. Once again, I began breathing heavily, as I struggled to speak. "So how long are you going to keep me in here then?" I shouted, tears forming in my eyes. "As long as I have to Icicles," he said, voice filled with sorrow, as I heard his footsteps slowly fade out as he walked down the hall. "You can't just leave me here!" I shouted, trying to keep my tough exterior, but failing as my voice began to shake. I finally let the wall I had built up, fall down as sobs racked my body. And there I was again, just like I began; thinking of him
