Thor reenters the bathroom to find that Matt has not moved. Slightly concerned he kneels by the side of the bathtub and places a gentle hand on her back. When she only looks up at him with tears streaming down her face his heart breaks a little.

Reaching past her he grabs some of Natasha's shampoo that she had left in there and lathers it on his hands. Gently massaging his soulmates scalp he hums a tune his mother used to sing. Matt's head subconsciously tilts back some allowing Thor to reach more of her hair.

There in the bathroom as the water goes cold around her waist  and her soulmate hums the tune of angel she feels at peace. At peace with the water waging constantly in her mind. At peace with the lose of the only person who has ever fully understood her. And at peace with herself.

Matt has spent so long trying to find who she is supposed to be and where she belongs that nothing felt right. Until now, when she has fallen apart completely yet someone is here to pick up the pieces. Twelve people there to hold her together.

A/N: Ik this is a short chapter, but I felt like adding anything onto this one in particular would take away the sentimental, heartfelt vibe :)
