Sitting on the steps outside the library joking around with his friends, it was a day similar to any other.

Soft breeze carrying their laughter as he looked around, that was when he first saw her.

 She was sitting under a tree a book in her lap and headphones in her ears as she sat there oblivious to her surrounding and he remembers thinking she was the most beautiful girl he has ever seen.

her eyes twinkled as she read her book and a small smile played on her lips and he couldn't look away. Everything around him ceased to exist as if he was a star sucked in by the pull of a black hole.

suddenly she clutched the book  to her chest and threw her head back as if she was soaking whatever she has just read.

 opening her eyes, she looked around and lightly shook her head as if to remind herself of the reality she was living in. He saw the fleeting disappointment on her face as she closed her book and raised her head

that was when their eyes met and he felt as if the force holding him to the surface has suddenly disappeared and he was falling.

It felt like her eyes was his earth and he was simply just the moon drawn to her by a force he couldn't explain

 But then her lips quirked up forming a small smile and everything just stopped as if someone has pushed paused on a playing movie

it felt like he was hit by a truck and sucked into a black hole at the same time and the most absurd thing was that he didn't want to stop.

as she looked away and gathered her things, he realized, he was in love

he was in love with a girl he didn't even know the name of
