I was busy working on my files in the office when my work was disturbed by the sudden ringtone of my phone. I picked it up and saw that mom is calling me. Seeing mom's name suddenly I remembered that she asked me to come home early as we have to left for her friend's house to visit.
I answered the call "Yes mom"
"Where are you bachaa I am waiting for you, I hope you have not forgotten our visit to Santokh's house" said mom from the other side
"No mom I have not forgotten about it, I am on my way" I lied
"Ok beta come fast otherwise we will be late and it does not look good to reach somebody's house late" mom said sweetly
"Yes mom coming" I said
After mom ended the call, I started organising my table hurriedly as my files were all over the place.
After neatly placing them on one side, i picked my office bag and left to home.
As soon as reached home I saw mom sitting on the couch reading a magazine. Hearing my footsteps she look upwards and saw me.
She look worriedly towards me and said "Sidharth kitni der laga di beta ghar aane mane, tune to bola tha tu raaste mane hai "
"Arre maa aap to jaanti ho mumbai ka traffic kaisa hota hai, aap tension mat lo mane bus abhi do minute mane fresh hokar aata hoon fir hum chalenge unke ghar. Aap tension mat lo hum time par pauch jayenge" saying this I went towards my room.
I freshened up and dressed myself into some casual outfit and went downstairs.

On the way while driving towards gill's house I was feeling something gonna happened, like something good which I don't know. With these thoughts running in my mind I didn't paid attention that we reached their house. I parked the car and went towards my mom who was excited to meet his friend after a long time.
Their house was not so big nor small but it gives homely vibes. Mom rang the doorbell and we waited for the person to open the door. As soon as the door opened I was shocked to see the person who opened it.
Shehnaaz POV
When we reached home I straight away went to my room and lie down with a huff sound. Today was a tiring day for me. So I relaxed for some time and took a nap of 2 hours.
After taking my nap i was feeling freshened and relaxed. All my tiredness was vanished. My stomach was growling so taking my puchkoo in one hand and pouting slightly ,I straight away went to mama to ask her to give me some food.
Mama was busy working and was making some delicious food. Inhaling the sweet aroma of food, my stomach started growling loudly and my mouth become watery.
"Mama aap itna tasty Punjabi dishes kiske liye bana rahi ho" I asked mumma
"Arre tu bhool bhi gayi tere papa ne terko bataya to tha ki unki friend aa rahi h apne bete ke saath tu itni jaldi bhool bhi gayi" mom said
"Haa mane to bhool hi gayi, achaa vo sab chodo mumma mujhe bhook lag rahi mujhe khaana dedo " I asked mamma
"Beta thodi der ruk jaa vo log aate hi honge fir hum sab saath bethkar dinner karenge aur bahut saari baate aur ha tayar bhi hojayeyo, ok mera putthu" said mom politely
I made an irritated sound and straight away went towards my room and thumped myself on bed and looked towards my puchkoo and said "Dekha puchkoo mamma papa ke uss khadoos boss ke liye kitna saara khaana banaya aur mujhe nhi diya aur mujhe bola jaa ready ho jaa, patani kya kya karna padega mujhe papa ke uss khadoos boss ke liye."
I dressesd myself in some casuals which were looking quite cute on me. I kept my hair straight and applied some lip gloss on my lips other than that no makeup on my face as to keep a natural look. I was happy seeing me in the mirror and give a flying kiss to myself. I heard door bell ringing and mumma asking me to look who's there on the door.
So i went down and opened the door. I saw a beautiful middle aged lady standing with a big smile on her face. I felt a presence standing right beside her. As soon as i saw who was standing, I got a shock of my life.
