A Fading Queen

Throughout the afternoon meeting, Zeus kept glancing at his wife with worried and concerned looks. This happened quite frequently until some of the gods noticed Zeus' strange behaviour. Enyo immediately knew that something was wrong with her mother. Enyo looked closer at her mother, and saw that her face was no longer strict and stern but tired and pale.

As the meeting was coming to an end, Hera decided to go to her garden. As she was almost at the door, Enyo came to her side in an instant. "Mother, let me follow you." she says, trying to convince her mother. Hera allowed it. 

Hera sighed,"Iris, prepare a picnic feast for me and Enyo, and please, don't let anybody in unless its necessary." she instructed as her servant Iris nodded and went to prepare Hera's garden.

Hera and Enyo were talking as they slowly walked to the garden. They were talking about Enyo's childhood memories, well more like Hera was teasing Enyo on a few memories that were particularly more embarrassing than the others.

Suddenly, Hera felt lightheaded and whispered"Please quickly bring me back to my garden, Enyo..."

Worried and concerned for her mother, Enyo hurriedly brought her mother to the garden. Just as they reached Hera's Garden, Hera fainted in Enyo's arm and turned even more pale. 

At that time, Hera's servants ,Iris and Diana was preparing the garden with a myriad of snacks for their lady. While they were doing that, they noticed their lady in Enyo's arm and stopped what they were doing and rushed to her side immediately.

Enyo looked at Iris and Diana and ordered "Iris, go call Zeus now! Diana, please help me carry my mother to her flower bed!".  Iris nodded and ran to the throne room as fast as she could. Diana, on the other hand, helped Enyo carry Hera to the flower bed and tended to her.

Iris burst into the throne room. Zeus stopped pacing and looked at Iris straight in the eye. "The Queen!" Iris shouted. Before Iris could tell Zeus what happened, Zeus was already out the door and running towards Hera's Garden with Iris trailing from behind.

When he saw his wife's pale body, he felt panic as he approached them. "Enyo! What happened?!" Zeus exclaimed feeling nervous. Enyo got up,"We were just talking and mother suddenly felt light-headed and I brought her here and she fainted" she explained. 

"We need to get her to Apollo!" 

Enyo nodded at Zeus' words and they brought Hera to Apollo's Palace.
