when you remind me of the time it had all begun
i wear the same old white cardigan
i snuggle deep into it when
the memories comes flashing like running train.
the worn cardigan gives me hope and courage to face
all the troubles i had once ran away
i sat down with a paper and start to trace
a bittersweet journey that once had begun today.
i have been waiting for you to come back
counted the days till ninety nine
life has turned upside down and out of track
oh please, come back my heart, it's time.
i love the same old white cardigan
that reminds me of you again and again
i try to keep my tears hidden
when the memories of you wash down
like pouring rain.
i have never yearned for anything this long
you know i have never been this hurt
alone in my room, i know i can't keep going on
listening to our favourite song, i can't help but still keep
holding on.
the white old cardigan reminds me of you
and tears i keep hidden
now you are gone and all that's left is your
memories and this old white cardigan.
