I was awoken by light shuffling although I refused to pull my blanket off of my face
"Cleony"A whispered voice called out
"Mm"I groaned, honestly not wanting to be bothered

"What.. is going on?"
"It's been reported to the Atlanta police department that you've taken Jahdae Anderson without legal consent. You do know that you've committed a crime?"
"You've gotta be kidding me"I mumbled "Jahdae is my little sister I did not take her without consent my parents kicked the both of us out, I'm taking care of her"
"Your parents explained that to us as well. Here's the thing, your sister is underage, though you may have thought taking care of her was the right thing to do you should have taken her home. She isn't your kid.. today could have been totally different we could've taken you in for.. kidnap even though that wasn't your intention"
I looked over at Jahdae who was outside of the room peeking in
"You're her sister, you didn't know so what I'm going to do is take Jahdae home to your parents if Jahdae turns up missing you will be the first person we assume. If she with you we're going to have to arrest you"The officer explained
My heart fell in my stomach. Everything was happening all too fast. They were taking the only thing keeping me motivated, the only thing I had left to live for. They were taking Daedae away from me
I stood up and dashed to Jahdae before pulling her into my arms. Tears instantly formed in the rim of my eyes before they came streaming down my once dry cheeks.

Jahdae gently removed herself from my grasp and grabbed a sack that held her clothes.
