Jane Black has a secret; a secret of a best friend, but this best friend wasn't a who; it was a what. Writing down her deepest fears and others' dreadful secrets, her diary was all she had.
On a treacherous night, during a party held in her house, the very diary goes missing. Along with the diary, her secrets are stolen. When copies of each and every page turn up posted everywhere in school, Jane must find out who is trying to ruin her. This seems far from possible when it wasn't just her own secrets that were revealed.
