Chapter 13

"Careful, you'll only make things harder" said Shigure.
"Screw this" said Kyo. "I should've fought my way out of that damn classroom"
"So, delivering chocolates?" asked Shigure.

"No" said Kagura. "I actually came to invite him out. Tomorrow, okay? Let's spend the day together. I want to give you your chocolates then too"
"Go out?" said Kyo.

"Wow, that sounds like a real date" said Tohru.
"When you say it like that, it's kind of embarrassing, Tohru" said Kagura.
"I'm not going. There's no way" said Kyo.

"That's where you're wrong" said Kagura angrily.
"I said no way damn it!" shouted Kyo. "Why should I have to go out on some dumb Valentine's date? And with you!"

"Kyo... that was cruel... do you always have to be so hateful?" cried Kagura.
"Please just make it stop" said Kyo.
"This is cute and all but perhaps you two could take the flirting elsewhere?" said Shigure.

"Shut up!" shouted Kyo.
"Hold on! I have a great idea" said Kagura. "We'll bring Yuki and Tohru with us and make it a double date!"
'Auw... that hurt's Kagura... not that I like going out, but I'm sitting right here too...'

I looked down at my hands and tried not to show that I was hurt.
"Nice, I like it" said Shigure.
"I know right! It'll be perfect!" said Kagura.

"Hey, wait just a second" said Yuki.
"I'm not going anywhere with Yuki" said Kyo.
"Oh wow! I've never been on a real date, let alone a double date" said Tohru really happily. "Are you sure you wouldn't mind?"
"Fine... whatever" said Kyo.

After Kagura finally left, I sat alone outside.
"Mizu-chan?" it was Tohru. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing" I lied. "I'm fine, really"

"Do you want to come with us tomorrow?" she asked.
"I don't think I was invited" I said and continued to draw.
"You could still come with us" she said.

"Then it wouldn't be a double date anymore" I said. "It's fine, Tohru. You go and have fun tomorrow, I will be fine. I'm going to the orphanage anyway"
"Oh, okay" she smiled.

-Yuki POV-

I felt bad for leaving Miss Hirose alone.
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" asked Miss Honda.
"Yes, I'm sure, Tohru" said Miss Hirose, but she looked sad. "You lot have fun"

We were leaving, but I looked at Miss Hirose one last time.
"I'll be fine, Yuki" she said. "Have fun"
"You too, Miss Hirose" I said and followed the group.
Whenever she called me by my first name, it gave me a warm feeling...

-Mizuki POV-

"Mizuki" said Miss Mika. "I didn't know you were coming"
"Last minute plan" I said. "I hope you don't mind"
"Of course not, dear" she smiled. "We're making chocolate, I'm sure the kids will be happy if you joined us"

"Mizuki!" said the kids when they saw me.
"Hey guys. Happy Valentine" I smiled.

I helped the kids with making the form of the chocolate, it was quite fun and I almost forgot about the fact that I was forgotten by Kagura. That my friends were on a double date...
'I wonder if Tohru is enjoying the double date...'

"Mizuki?" said Amelia. "Are you okay?"
"I'm okay" I smiled. "I just have a lot on my mind these days"
"Did you give that boy chocolates?" she asked and I blushed.

"No, I gave him one of my drawings" I said. "He's quite popular in school, they call him 'The Prince'. So I thought he would be sick of the chocolate, so I gave him something else"
"That's so romantic!" shouted one of the other kids.

"It's not like that!" I said, but my face was probably red as a tomato. "He's just... a friend, I guess"
The kids didn't really believed me and made a bit of fun of me.
But it made me smile and it was a lot of fun.

-Yuki POV-

"Mizuki isn't back yet?" asked Shigure.
"It's dark already" said Miss Honda. "I hope she's okay"
"I'll go to the orphanage to pick her up" I said and put my shoes back on.

I walked to the orphanage and hear laughter.
"Mizuki is so in love!" I heard one of the children say.
"I'm not" said Miss Hirose's voice. "I told you already"

"Then why is your head so red?" asked the kid.
"You're all overwhelming me with these questions. Anyone would get flustered" said Miss Hirose.
"Just keep telling yourself that, Mizuki" said the kid.

"Ah, you must be here to pick Mizuki up" said Miss Mika, I think her name was. "That's very kind of you. I was worried about her"
"Worried?" I asked.

"Yes, she didn't say she was coming today" she said. "I thought something had happened, but I guess I was worried over nothing. Mizuki is changing, in a good way. I'm happy she found a place she can call home. Please, continue to take good care of her"

"I will" I said.
"Mizuki! There's someone here to pick you up!" shouted Miss Mika.
"Ooh! Is it your boyfriend?" said one of the kids.

"You kids really don't believe me do you?" laughed Miss Hirose. "I'll see you guys next week!"
"Bye Mizuki!" shouted the kids and Miss Hirose smiled at me.
"Thank you for walking me home" she said. "Did you have fun on the date?"

"It was okay" I said. "How was your day?"
"Fun" she smiled. "We made chocolates. Want one?"
She gave me a piece of chocolate and I smiled.
