The fight, if you could even call it that, continued predictably; him running around and you failing to land a hit.

But at least it gave you time to talk.

"Why do you hate the Avengers?" you asked.

"They are hypocrites masquerading as heroes." he said bitterly.

"Just because they make mistakes doesn't mean they're bad people." you argued.

"Let's agree," He dodged again and pinned your arms behind your back, "to disagree."

You struggled to free yourself, to no avail.

"It's hard to talk with you throwing kicks at me." he said as an explanation.

You stopped struggling, opting instead to watch for his next move.

"What's your name?" he asked, nearly making it sound like this was just a normal, casual conversation.

"Really?" you asked, incredulously.

"Well, I figure you've found out mine already, it is only fair I know yours."

"I don't think we've reached being on a first name basis yet. But people call me 'Changeling'."

"Like the myth?" he asked.

"That's what people used to call me when I was little. But they didn't mean it in a good way." you admitted.

"I didn't know americans believed in those things too."

"I don't know if they do," you said, using the conversation to twist your wrists subtly and shift your weight, "I wasn't born in America."

"Where are you from then?" He sounded genuinely curious.

"None of your business!" you said, your voice straining; in that moment you managed, with difficulty, to land a back kick, right on his stomach. He was momentarily winded and you stepped a safe distance away to prepare yourself for whatever came next.

Pietro let out a pained chuckle, "Well, that wasn't nice."

"Um, you do remember we're technically enemies, right?" you asked, half joking. You then placed your hands on your hips and got serious, "What's Ultron's plan?"

Pietro laughed, "Did you really think I'd just tell you that easily?"

You shrugged, "It was worth a try."

You smiled brightly as your hair turned white, though you knew he couldn't see it because of the image inducer. You copied his speed, catching him off guard, and finally managing to land a kick on him, knocking him down.

You got closer and crossed your arms smugly, "What? Didn't see that coming?"

"How did you do that?"

"I'm more than just a pretty blue face."

The fight became more even from there, but Pietro was still a lot faster than you; you couldn't perfectly copy him.

"Why didn't you do that before?" he asked as he barely dodged your kick.

"You wanted to talk." you said simply.

"You wanted information." he concluded.

"Bingo!"

You crossed your arms in front of yourself to block a punch, but you couldn't copy Piotr's mutation at the same time as you copied Pietro's. Unfortunately, your image inducer absorbed most of the impact, it shattered and it started to smoke.
