PART 14 - Shadow

Jihyo : Shibal! (means "fuck" in Korean) C'mon, do your job!

Bodyguard : Sorry Ms, I didn't mean to-

Jihyo went up and followed the other girls to the van without giving the bodyguard another word.

Luckily no fans paid attention to Jihyo's rude attitude to the bodyguard and it didn't make it to the headlines.

Chaeyoung : I heard you scolding the bodyguard, unnie. Are you okay?

Jihyo : Y-Yea, just a little bit ticked off.

Dahyun : Chill unnie, don't wanna be in the headlines.

Jihyo : Yea, I know. Just some minor jet lag, that's all.

Dahyun knew that Jihyo was not in the mood because she misses him rather than being jet-lagged.

But she let Jihyo rest in the van as they drive to the accommodation they will be staying.

After 40 mins of driving.

Manager Unnie : We're here girls, don't forget your luggage!

Nayeon : How about the rooms?

Manager Unnie : Each of you has one. PD-nim said you all deserve some privacy and time alone.

Jeongyeon : Jjinjaro? Each room for ourselves?

Chaeyoung : Too good to be true. (steps out of the van)

Sana : Aaaah, if Y/N was here, I'll let him sleep with me. (looks to the sky)

Jihyo : Sure Sana. (death glare)

Momo : She's clearly joking, c'mon! (pats the leader's back)

The mood was brightened by Sana's joke. They all went to their designated rooms for each.

BACK TO Y/N

Y/N : Ah shit, here we go again. (waking up)

(if someone didn't recognize the reference)

Y/N : Hello? Someone there? Anyone, to tell me why the hell am I tied?

A nurse came in.

Y/N : At last, somebody.

Nurse : What is it Mr. Y/N?

Y/N : Tch, you still asking? (gesturing to the ziptie)

Nurse : Oh yeah, we were afraid that you'll go psycho mode again (untying)

(emphasizing the word "psycho")

Y/N : Did I really gone mad again?

Nurse : Yeah, you nearly punch the doctor.

Y/N : Really? Damn. Where is he?

Nurse : Uhhh, you want to punch him again?

Y/N : No, no what? I mean to apologize. (stands up)

Nurse : Oh, yeah sure right this way.

In the doctor's office,

Y/N : Forgive me Doctor (bows 3x)

Doctor : It's fine, you were out of control.

Y/N : Ah, ne mianhamnida Doctor (bows again)

Doctor : So, we had some complications in finding the right remedy for this. (writing some prescriptions)

Doctor : This is the best we could find. (hands over the prescription)

Y/N : Oh, so this will calm the inner beast down?

Doctor : In theory, yes. But it comes with a side effect.

Y/N : If I may know, what is it?

Doctor : Uh-huh, the side effect is that you'll lose your consciousness.

Y/N : So basically a tranquilizer?

Doctor : Yea, more or less. In pill form. (calm)

Y/N : There's no other way? (tilts his head)

Doctor : Unfortunately no, we're still in the process of.. processing it.

Y/N : (scratches his neck) Well, I guess thanks?

Doctor : Uhm, do you have any idea why there is another deep-buried personality in you? (curious)

Y/N : Uh, well I have a rough past.

Doctor : Tell me. (leans towards Y/N)

Y/N : Ah, not now Doctor. (fake laughter) I-I h-have to go. Right n-now. (nervous)

Doctor : But, it'll help us-

Y/N slammed the door closed before the doctor even finish his statement.

Doctor : Guess, he's hiding something. (shakes his head)

Outside the Hospital

Y/N : What's happening to me? (looks at his hands)

Y/N : I-Is he back? (trembling voice)

Pretty short chapter, it's kinda a filler again.
