"I sure hope so. We need all the help we could get," Binnie added.
Eventually, the two groups met a highway crossing. However, because of the smoke, they were unable to identify each other at first, causing both Hyojung and E.Tion to throw lightning.
"Ahhhh!" Wyatt, U, Jiho and Binnie were hit by the friendly fire and were seriously injured.
"Omaigurl-seonbaenim?" E.Tion realized.
"Onoff?" Hyojung was shocked. "Goodness! I am so sorry!"
"I sincerely apologize as well," E.Tion bowed ninety degrees.
"Are you two okay?" Hyojin asked Wyatt and U; Wyatt got hit on his right chest while U got hit on his left shoulder.
"How are you?" Hyojung questioned Jiho and Binnie; Jiho and Binnie both got hit on their right shoulder. "This is not good. Arin, teleport the four of them to the nearest hospital. The rest of us will stay to get rid of the enemies and the general if any."
"Should I help?" MK inquired.
"No. You should stay in case we need to retreat," Hyojung replied.
Without wasting more time, Arin transported the injured away from the battlefield. Meanwhile, only nine magical squad members were left. Together, they continued eliminating the female creatures that they come face-to-face with until such that they found a male standing in the middle of all the mayhems.
"Ah, am I correct in assuming that you are the protectors of this place?" the said male spoke.
"Yes. Identify yourself," Seunghee demanded.
"I am Trigg, one of the four members of the Brotherhood of the Thorn," the male introduced himself.

"Four?" Hyojin noticed.
"Yes, four. But don't worry, I am the only one here. My other brothers are in another location," Trigg mentioned. "Before anything else, I would like to applaud you for making it through my Banshees."
"Banshees? Is that what they are called?" Hyojung earlier question was answered.
"Now I hope you are ready to fight with your lives on the line for I am not leaving this place unless you managed to kill me," Trigg claimed.
"This is bad. Jiho and Binnie are needed to activate out X-Con technique. We have no ace up our sleeves," YooA whispered. "How about you Onoff? Can you activate you X-Con technique with your remaining members?"
"Fortunately enough, everyone needed for the activation of our X-Con technique is still here, seonbaenim," Hyojin whispered.
"That's good. Here's the plan. We'll try to weaken him and when he is weak enough, hit him with your X-Con technique. That should do the trick," Hyojung laid out her strategy.
Going with Hyojung's strategy, the eight offensive members surrounded Trigg while MK was on standby in case anyone got injured.
"Ah, I see. Trying to overwhelm me with number? Unfortunately, that won't work on me," Trigg proudly declared.
"We shall see about that," Mimi retorted
Hyojung fired her lightning bolt but Trigg countered with the same power. He immediately threw four Energy Balls to Mimi, YooA, J.Us and U. The four nullified the Energy Ball with their respective power. Hyojin released a wave of telekinetic energy. Trigg tried to counter it with Electrokinesis but was overpowered; he fell to the ground hard. Angered, Trigg released a ring of electricity for an omnidirectional attack. All eight members defended with their powers. However, while they were busy defending themselves, Trigg shot nine Energy Balls, one for each of them. MK noticed and was able to protect himself by teleporting out of the projectile's way. On the other hand, his eight allies were so distracted by the ring of electricity that they failed to notice the incoming Energy Ball. All eight were hit and flew backwards. They emerged with injuries on their bodies.
"He's a general indeed," J.Us spat some blood.
"Ready to throw in the towel?" Trigg snickered.
"Never," E.Tion replied.
E.Tion and Hyojung used their Electrokinesis from both sides. Trigg countered by stretching both arms sideward and fired some lightning as well. It was a trap. While their powers were in a deadlock, U, Mimi and YooA each attacked him. Preoccupied with the lightning bolts, Trigg was not able to defend from the Energy Blast, Plasma Ball and light that was fired towards him and once again fell lying on the ground.
"Do it now!" Hyojung instructed Onoff.
"X-Con: Spin Off!"

The barely conscious Trigg was trapped in a whirlpool of water, "What is this? Where did this come from?"
Lightning, then, rained down in rapid succession to Trigg. Afterwards, the whirlpool exploded. Trigg exploded along with the whirlpool.
"Good job, guys!" YooA told Onoff; her right arm clutching her left shoulder.
"That guy was really tough," Mimi commented while her left arm was wrapped around her belly.
"Glad that's over," Hyojin was holding his head with his left hand to stop the bleeding.
"Everybody, link up! I need to get you to the nearest medical facility," MK stated.
With that, Onoff and Omaigurl successfully defended their province from the one of the four members of the Brotherhood of the Thorn. Only three members remained.
