Part 6: Nothing but Lies

Holden: "Do you know..."

"Know what?"

Holden: "Oh thank god"

"What?"

Holden: "Nothing! We need to get your new armor remember?"

"Oh yeah. Let's see if the Blacksmith is done"

Arthur: "Is it time for you to leave already?"

I put on the last of my armor. Excluding my helmet.

"Yes father"

Arthur: "Stay safe"

He kissed me on the cheek and hugged me.

"I will"

My mother came into the room.

Mary: "Where will you be going?"

"There's a village that's been asking for help for a few days. They said their Warden left. I'm going to go see why and see how I can help"

Mary: "Then be careful"

"I will mother. Goodbye"

I hugged her too.

Alex came into the room.

Alex: "Your horse is ready miss Sarah"

I nodded. I followed Alex out to the stables.

Alex: "Your parents worry too much"

I mounted my horse.

"Eh. That's how you can tell if you have good parents or not"

Alex: "That's a valid point"

He checked the rest of my horse and nodded.

Alex: "Good luck!"

"Goodbye Alex!"

I rode out of the stables and out of the front gates. I don't know if anyone has said it yet but riding a horse is like flying.

"Two hundred silver"

???: "Wha- no! One hundred!"

"We don't work for cheap. Now if you don't have the silver then go away"

The man stomped the ground with his foot and stormed out of the camp.

???: "What was that about?"

I turned around and saw Leodias.

"Some guy tried to hire us. He only had one hundred silver. He said he was saving it to hire us for some job to kill a rival or something"

???: "How much did you ask for?"

"Two hundred"

Leodias: "By the gods! Elias no one would pay that much!"
