Today's chapter unfortunately has to be very short, but I started early on chapter 8 so I'm gonna get this out for y'all.

Unfortunately, this chapter will have to be a bit shorter than the more recent ones (so a time skip will be present). Also I'm gonna use honorifics now, but just for teachers. I'm being extremely complicated, and I'm sorry. I'm also letting up on the "he said she said" stuff. But don't worry you'll still know who's talking. This chapter also may be formatted a bit weird, and I'm sorry for that, but don't worry, chapter 8 will be amazing I promise. It'll be a week or two before it comes out.

You were just kind of fooling around and drawing a character during class. Well, you weren't exactly in class, seeing as Shima-sensei hadn't shown up yet, but you were still in the classroom. Everyone else was talking, while you caught Jun peeking at your drawings now and again.
Yuuichi was talking to two other girls (one of them being the class rep) about god knows what, but you weren't paying much attention. You were getting a bit tired of listening to everyone talk, so you went to your backpack and pulled out your wireless earbud case.
You started listening to....something. It wasn't in your playlist because you wanted to try something new.
Today went normal. You drew up the last remaining pages of your notepad, so you made a note to buy another one. Since today was a free day you did talk to some people when you needed to put your headphones in the case to charge them. You ended up learning a few things about your peers and friends.
Such as (and most of this is either unknown or not canon but I'm just gonna say it for ✨exposition purposes✨)
According to Jin, Gin spends most of his money on snacks. Ayako doesn't eat sweets that much, despite working at a sweet shop. Ryoji's favorite food is toast, and he always has a small plastic bag of some in his backpack. Jun has a RubyOne console that he's owned for nearly 10 years. Shoichi is the head of the Student Council. Almost all of your friends except for Jun, are somewhat famous. Jun plays piano and has a competition coming up.
After lunch ended, the day was still free since the teacher showed no signs of coming in anytime soon, which is ironic because he always grilled people for being the smallest bit tardy.
But....
Before you knew it....
The bell rang.
Everyone got out of their seats, grabbed their bags and went out to the door to their homes, clubs, or nowhere considering there were a few that just hung out in the classroom a bit longer with their friends.
You were staring to put your (now full) notepad back in you bag until a tap on your shoulder.
"H-Hey (Y/N)?" Yuuichi said, while standing behind you. You turned to face him.
Yuuichi, internally: Why the hell did I stutter?! No, no, no just be calm. I don't even know why I'm nervous.
"Hm?"
"I, uh, have practice today and I was wondering if you wanted to come and, uh, watch?"
"Yeah, sure. When does it start?"
"In about 10 minutes."
"Okay. I'm just gonna hang out here for a few more minutes but I'll be there!"
"Alright, you know how to get there right?"
"Yup."
"Okay. I'll see you there!"
He walked out, and you stayed behind.
After saying goodbye to the people you were talking to, your walking down the hallway checking your phone for any messages from your parents when all of sudden you hear music. Piano to be exact.
Now you had never been one to literally feel music, but the melody and how quiet and welcoming it sounded just pulled you closer. You were led to a large, dark brown door, and when you looked inside, you saw Jun, and he was in his element.

His fingers danced across the keys so fast, and the fact that he wasn't even looking just made it 12x better. The sunlight that reflected off of the shiny piano hit his fur in a way that made him look like he was under a spotlight.
But you eventually stopped gawking, and left to go to Yuuichi's tennis practice before you were late.

Unfortunately I have to end it off here as I'm sort of crunched for time right now, but rest assured that part 2 and chapter 8 will come out soon. You know I love ya, and I'm out.
