Looking out into the night, eyes heavy through lack of sleep, Detective James Woodhead struggles to recognise silhouettes walking through the thick, relentless fog. His attention drawn to the task at hand, which is Michael Hood (wanted for murder). Michael has avoided capture time after time; Detective James Woodhead is determined to catch Michal Hood this time.

Detective James Woodhead, a Scottish policeman, stands 6'2" with a deep Scottish accent. He is stationed at Scotland Yard. Being a single mand with no hobbies, he has spent his life Woking hard to reach this goal, and gain his place at Scotland Yard. An atheist believes believes that if it can be touched then it's real. What James doesn't know if that this time the events that unfold with Michael avoiding capture again, will change James' life forever, and him questioning his beliefs.

Detective Woodhead is concentrating so much, not relaxing for one second, when his mobile rings. It startles him for a second.

"Detective James Woodhead," he says in a broad Scottish accent. "Yes, chief." His pupils enlarge. "Where are you? I'm on my way."

It's the news that James has dreaded-Michael has killed again.

James drives as fast as the fog allows him to, towards the Burton Hotel. As he approaches the street, it's crowded with onlookers, the press shouting questions at any police officer, paramedic or emergency staff that enters or leaves the building. James pushes his way through the crowd showing the policeman on guard his badge. Right then, his attention is drawn to a news reporter that has broken through the police line, James says 'no comment' as he restrains the reporter forcing him back behind the line.

James walks down the poorly lit stairs to the basement. As he enters the room there is a small, narrow window near the ceiling. Emergency staff are attending to to the body, police taking photos of the body and surrounding area. The chief walks over from the body to speak to James.

"Get down to the Medical Examiner's office-tell them the body is on its way. I want you to wait there and get a full report." James nods his head. The chief roars "Now!"

With the chief's words echoing in his ears, James hurries to the Medical Examiner's office. As he enters the building, the fresh smell of chlorine fills his nostrils. He is greeted by a slim, attractive woman wearing a crisp, starched white overcoat.

"Hi My name is Dr. Rose Owen. How can I help you?"
