Prologue

March 14th, 20XX

-Kaminoku

After years of remodeling and reconstruction, the city was better than its former glory thanks to the contributions of the Number 2 Pro Hero, Dynamight.

You had just moved back to Kaminoku after finishing grad school majoring in botany to understand the cycle of life for all things that photosynthesize. It intrigued you nonetheless after you had inherited the family flower shop days after a terrible accident claiming the lives of your parents and little brother, Sigetsuo. Their lives were taken in a fatal car accident that ended up with involving with an underling from the LOV. They deserved to live long and happy lives but not everything works out in life as intended. Life goes on.

Of course, it left you upset and often empty inside when you stray thoughts made you think about abruptly they all left yet they left something to remember them by. The L/n Flora Shop; you didn't want the family tradition to go out in vain. There was just one minor setback to be at your best, you were losing your sense of hearing. You have been since you turned 12. Meaning that you depended on a hearing aid for you to just function in life and had more check ups than normal to maintain your auditory senses as best much as possible. You believed just because you had a disadvantage didn't mean that you couldn't achieve greatness in your own way. As much as you missed your family dearly, you worked in earnest to uphold the family name.

This worked out very well for you in the end as you had gained a lot of popularity among the people of Hosu and neighboring cities. Now, you had gotten a lot of business for wedding bouquets and decorations, graduations, ceremonies, birthdays... You name it, you've done it at some point. Reaching a level of popularity as a florist, newcomers and regulars promote on SNS whenever they finish making a purchase.

Life was good.

You were happy with how things were finally looking up for you and the shop. You had managed to hire a couple of new employees to bulk up the available staff and showed them the ropes to nurturing and caring for the various plants set up all over the shop. The weather was just right on today of all days. Partially cloudy, mild breezes, the faint smell of tiger lilies, hyacinths, as well as chrysanthemums flooding the air with their fragrances. Which reminded you to order more baby's breath and baby plum blossoms for the summer months.

Today just happened to be more special than most because today was the day that Katsuki Bakugo would end up stopping by your shop to make an order request though you had not realized yet. You woke up early as you normally do and got yourself ready for the day, remembering to wrap your apron gently around your waist. You had a simple outfit out together: a loose white long-sleeve top and light blue jeans as you had styled your curls into a high-ponytail and letting your bangs hug your facial features. You quickly made yourself some toast and coffee to take on the go before stopping to check yourself in the mirror to make sure you looked presentable enough for the opening. You finished your look off with some light pink flats and the locket your little brother convinced your parents to give you a few years back on your birthday.

Making sure you packed everything you needed for the day, you had extra snacks and a bottle of water just in case all while stopping to check what time it was and realizing you were ten minutes behind before silently cursing to yourself as you snatched up your bag and keys.

As you scurried to the train station, you adjusted your hearing aid so that you could listen for any traffic delays and such as the next subway car trolled to stop at the platform.

'PLEASE WATCH YOUR STEP AT ALL TIMES AND STAND AWAY FROM THE PLATFORM"

The automated voice instructor informed the citizens as morning rush hour was at its peak. As you pushed and elbowed your way onto the overcrowded subway car so you wouldn't become later than you already were. Today was about to be a long-ass day.
