Eliza Locket has just broken up with her fiance and just now been offered a a well-paid job by this stylish/model, but there is more that meets the eye then just money.
"For the last four years I put up with this man, or at least our excuse for how he's been treating me," I hissed. I started aggressively wiping down the tables making my way around the shop before opening.
Tabitha came out with a couple of more rolls of paper towels as we tried to get things ready for sanitation," Honestly I couldn't believe that you lasted that long, should have just sent them out to the streets after the first time he cheated," She groaned. It's true he has cheated on me before in the past with someone taller and has a bigger rack but it don't bother me until he did it again. That just meant that the front yard was decorated more than it is for Christmas. I flipped the sign to the cafe and got behind the counter, I've been working in the small Cafe for 2 years now and I'm just waiting for my big catering gig. In LA you can be anything, from the garbage man going through a celebrity's trash to a model just sleeping her way to the top. Where my passion lies is where my food is, I've had a few wedding catering but nothing too fancy and maybe one or two parties since I've been here.
We see a handful people everyday and a lot of our regulars. With this heat I always break a sweat when we're busy on the weekdays. A tall woman walked in and you can smell the money rolling off of her chest in her Louis Vuitton red heels and she was wearing a white Tommy Hilfiger dress that just hugs your body just right. This was the first time I felt awestruck by a woman like her she took off her glasses.
"Hi excuse me, I'm looking for an Eliza Locket? She recently catered one of my friends' wedding and I wanted to see if I could hire her for something a little more," she first started shaking her foot on the back of her heel waiting for my response.
"Ah yes that is me, what may be the event,"I smiled.
She gave me a warm grin and we walked over to one of the tables to discuss the plans," I was actually thinking about hiring you as my personal caterer, I'm hosting a small dinner party but I don't mind hiring you for a full-time gig. I'm a custom stylist and designer so at the moment I'm going to be working at home and I thought I could hire someone to help me help with some things around the house, " she leaned back, crossing her legs and arms. I honestly don't know how I would feel about this because I am in need for more catering gigs although this is out of my normal, "I'll be paying $15,000 a week,"
"When do I start?" I started taking my apron off.
