* Viper'Scale *

Soft'kit peeked out from the nursery, her mother, Bright'Ginger, lapped at Soft'kits fur. "Mamaaaa! Quit it! My fur is perfectly fine!" The queen chuckled as the kit whined and complained.
"Alright, alright, but you better not mess it up for when Briar'star calls a meeting, okay?" The queen looks to her kit expectantly and Soft'kit giggled, a reassuring nod coming from her. Bright'Ginger giggled and nudged the kit. Soft'kits large ears perk up as she heard the leaders call for a clan meeting. Warriors of multiple colors, sizes, and shapes gathered below the towering rock. Soft'kit perked up as her father, June'Gaze padded over. "You ready? Cmon, it's your apprentice ceremony." Soft'kit looked back to her mother for reassurance, and she nodded. The kit smiled as she pads with her father lead her to the clearing. He sat with the crowd of warriors, and she stood beside him. The warriors among them looked just as excited as her, "Soft'kit." She looks as she heard her name, "Step forward.." the kit nodded and stepped forward into the empty space, looking up to Briar'star, and his deputy, Robin'pelt. She felt kind of worried as the leader had a reputation of forgetting things, she hoped it wouldn't be that kind today. It was her apprentice ceremony, and nothing could go wrong... right?

"Soft'kit, you have reached uh.. 6 moons as of now, it's time for you to become an apprentice." Briar'star spoke loudly as Soft'kit stared up at him with sparkling eyes. "Until you become a full fledged warrior, you shall be named Soft'paw. Soft'paw, I can't wait to see you grow. Now, meeting dismissed." The older leader turned and padded into his den and Soft'paw stared in astonishment (great surprise), how could he forget to give her a mentor!? Great bitterness filled her as she turns and pads next to her father, "June'Gaze, can I please please please go out the camp now that I'm an apprentice?" Her father chuckled, "Fine, but remember to be careful, okay?" She nodded and hurried toward the tunnel leading out of the Thunderclan camp. Once she reached the surface, she let out a deep sigh. "Wow!" She looks around the forest, filled with overgrowth of trees and plants. Soft'paw deeply inhaled all the scents around her, her maw tasting the smell of herbs, cats, prey.. It filled her with extreme excitement and curiousity to explore the forest. The Siamese apprentice padded farther and farther away from her camp, a smile spread on her muzzle.

"Awful strange for one of the young ones to be traveling alone, hm?" Soft'paw froze as she heard an unfamiliar voice, her head snapped in every direction, until two dark coated cats padded out from behind a rock. "Shallow'shore, circle." The she cat nodded as the Tom commanded her, and she went to the other side of Soft'paw. The Siamese was bewildered, spinning to try and keep them from attacking her. "What's your name?" The female rogue called, "Soft'paw," the Siamese quickly replied. "Pfff, Soft'paw!? Hah, that's the best name I've ever heard!" The Tom piped up, laughing at her name as if it was a mouse flying. Soft'paw felt a hiss slip out from her maw, and the two rogues chuckled.

"She could be good use, Lost'lark. Grab her, let's take her back." Before Soft'paw could react, the Tom lunged onto her and grabbed her scruff. The apprentice let out a Yelp as the massive Tom dragged her, she hissed and tried to fight, but he had a strong grip on her, causing her to give up and just go along. After what seemed like endless minutes of walking, they arrived upon a barn. The tall, wooden structure painted in red and full of holes towered over them, she felt unwelcome and frightened. Lost'lark threw her onto the ground and they stared down at the apprentice. "From now on, you will live here. You're never going back," Shallow'Shores chuckled. Soft'paw looked away, a tear escaping her eye. "Aw, don't cry, if you do, we'll beat you till you stop!" The evil rogue laughed as others guarded the entrance. 

How was she ever gonna get out of here?
