I stared at him incredulously. Did he think I was just going to trust him because he's helping me?! He better think again. He can help me but that doesn't mean he's getting any brownie points. Though If I don't, we both might be lying dead in this alley way any second. I could hear the old man getting closer. He'll probably find us in less then a minute.

Sighing heavily I nodded slowly,"Okay, fine. Just don't laugh if I fall..."

"I'm not going to promise anything,"I heard him mutter. I lightly dug my heel into his hand, making him grunt in response. I smiled triumphantly until I felt myself drop a couple inches. Clutching onto the crates terrified of falling, I looked down at him only to see him smirking.

"On the count of three," He announced. I braced myself to latch onto anything I could,"... one... two... ... three!"

Suddenly I felt myself being thrown into the air. For the split second of flying upwards, I reveled in the feeling of soaring into the sky, loving the way it felt to be freely surrounded by the air. Though my moment of complete bliss was interrupted when I felt myself start to fall.

Eyes widening and instinct mode activating, I shot my hands out just barely getting my finger tips over the edge. My boots scraped against the side of the crates trying to gain some kind of traction. Dang could he throw someone! I know I'm not exactly the lightest thing around.

After situating my feet and hands on the wooden boxes, I easily hauled myself over the edge standing on my knees on the top.

I breathed a sigh of relief when I realised I made it. Good, now I can go find Farl-

"Hey you brat! Aren't you going to return the favor?"A voice from below broke into my ears.

I quickly turned around and looked over the side and saw the raven haired guy - I really need to learn his name- looking at me expectantly. I nodded quickly, having been able to hear the old man fire another bullet - this time that hit the entrance of the alley way. He was just around the corner!

I looked at the guy in fear. He was fixing to get caught... and because of me! Getting down on my stomach, I reached my arm as far as it would go over the edge waiting for him to grab it so I could pull him up. Taking a few running steps back, he leaned down slightly. I looked at the entrance of the alley way when I spotted a shadow nearing it, their arms waving frantically. I looked down just in time to see the guy push off into a run.

I watched with baited breath as he ran full sped towards the crate wall, and at the last second jumping up high as he could placing a foot on the alley way and then proceeding to push of from there. Adding a few more feet to his already impressive jump, he slammed into the crates with his feet roughly grabbing onto my hand. I felt my shoulder pop at the sudden weight from his body.

Glancing quickly at the entrance slightly freaking when I saw a boot, I grunted quietly as I pulled him up and over onto the top... and conveniently on top of me. Though neither of us could do anything about it as the old man walked into the alley, shooting a random bullet into the bottom of the crates.

"I know you went down here... come out you little runts..."He said with a evil laugh,"... people would pay good money for you two... especially you, little girly..."

I flinched lightly, a shiver running through my body. How nasty could this man get? The guy just laid still over me both his legs on either side of my left one, hands pressed flat against the crates on both sides of my waist, and his head laying in the space between my neck and my right shoulder. I couldn't see his face so I couldn't really see what he was thinking. Was he as uncomfortable as I was?
