It's 11:30 on a normal Thursday morning, y/n is sitting in her biology class anxiously waiting for the lunch bell to ring.

'he should have made it by now its almost the end of class, do you think he's even going to show up?'

"okay class before class ends I'd like to introduce you guys to our new class member Alex."

y/n's head shot up to see a kid with all black clothes and an LAFD beanie on.

she was shocked , she wasn't expecting the new kid to be so simple yet so cute. y/n hated the fact that she found a popular kid so charming.

y/n glanced at her phone to read the text Niki sent her.

y/n rolled her eyes and smirked.

" Is this seat taken?"

y/n quickly looked up to see Alex standing right next to her waiting for a response.

y/n blushed in embarrassment.

"No it's not " y/n says hesitantly.

Alex sat down and took out his phone, y/n snooped a little and saw that he was texting his friend nick.

Alex noticed y/n looking at his phone screen and smirked.

y/n quickly looked away and continued to sit in silence.

y/n couldn't stop thinking about how nice he smelled, it wasn't a harsh smell , it was very homie like a fresh batch of home made cookies, it reminded y/n of her child hood and how her mom would make cookies. But now her mom is so caught up in work she barely gets to talk to her mom any more. all y/n has anymore is her friend Niki and her big brother clay.

the lunch bell rung and y/n packed up her stuff quickly and she sprung up from her seat in order to catch Niki in time.

while she was sprinting to Niki she bumped into Alex sending her to the floor.

" I'm so sorry" y/n exclaimed.

"it's fine , are you okay" Alex said in a concerned tone as he reached his hand out to help y/n up.

y/n grabbed his hand and he helped her up

" I don't think I've had a chance to introduce myself yet, Im Alex whats your name"

y/n blushed a little as she struggles to get her name out.

" I...I'm y/n"

Alex smirked a little as he watched y/n struggle to put words together.

"you must be in a rush , well its nice meeting you see you tomorrow"

y/n looked up and smiled " see you tomorrow"

y/n looked over to Niki to fined her with the biggest grin.

" so... I'm guessing you two hit it off huh"

y/n smiled " I cant believe I tripped, I'm so embarrassed"

Niki chuckled as they walked to lunch.
