Chapter 4 - Changes

I shout, "Yes!" I feel happy for one of the first times in my life.

Jenna runs to the living room, "You won?" she asks.

I nod, "Yes! I won $50,000! I can't believe it! We're gonna go to school and move to a real house!"

Jenna shrieks and cries for joy, "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I get to live somewhere and, and, go to school, and, and have friends! I've never been happy before! I like the feeling."

Somebody knocks at the door and I open it. I see a man holding a giant check! "Thanks!" I say holding back tears. "Congratulations! Is your dad home?" "Uhh, he's in the shower," I say to the man.

He nods, "Okay, well enjoy!" he says and walks off to his fancy, black, car that looks freshly waxed.

I close the door, clutching the giant check, "I'm going to the bank! Be back soon!" I say to Jenna and walk outside.

I rent a trailor house and settle in. We go to school, and years pass by quickly. My childhood dog, Flame, finds us and we enjoy our lives. Now, I'm thirteen and starting eighth grade today. I walk to school and see my girlfriend, Laurie.

"Hey Brad, ready for a new school year?"

I smile at her, "Sure, more homework, more seeing the teachers I hate, wow it all sounds so fun." I say using sarcasm.

Laurie smiles, "You missed one part."

I stare into her eyes, "What did I miss?"

She laughs, "Uhh, I don't know. SEEING YOUR GIRLFRIEND?"

I laugh, "Oh, yeah so that's why I keep coming to school."

Laurie smiles and kisses me,"I gotta go to class. See you later," she says and walks off. I smile at her and walk to class.

The year streches on, and  Laurie and I both turn fourteen. Jenna turns nine and is getting even more crazier.  Laurie's birthday party was two weeks ago, and let's just say that I stayed at her house a little bit late. Just me and her.

Now, I walk into Henry Clay Highschool and see her. Laurie runs up to me, "Remember two weeks ago at my birthday party?"

I look at her, "Yeah, why?" "I'm kinda like..." I flash back and come to the present, "Oh, gosh. Oh, crap."

She looks at me with a worried face, "Yeah?! I'm scared!" "Why are you looking at me? I don't know what to do?!" I say kind of harsh.

BELL RINGS

"Well, I gotta go!" I say to her and run off to class. The year goes on, slowly. I break up with her because of what happened between us. I completely just basically left her, ditched her. Everything flys away like birds flying South for migration, I turn fifteen, Jenna turns ten, Laurie has her baby girl, names it Mackenzie, and these upcoming years were going to be; long
