Dier

Prologue

"Now, news just in, a robber confirmed to have stolen over £1,000 has been found apprehended. Sightings Confirm just before the suspect was attacked by a large bat like creature. Knocking them down and allowing the authorities to catch up, but not in time to get the bat culprit, could it just be a normal bat, or could it be a Dier, witnesses are unsure, however their are strong believers on both sides. Mr Morris has been quoted to say: 'of course its one of those blasted Dier, every time there's an issue there's a different one to blame, and this bat is clearly the new threat.' however, Miss Campbell said about the issue 'it was just a bat, it probably just spooked the poor boy and he fainted, that's all, Diers haven't been a true problem for years now anyways.' while both these comments are believable in parts its also worth noting that an unlicensed Dier can be a criminal offence if not used properly. The police are currently holding the criminal for questioning while they search for further suspects, this has been your news for the evening. Goodnight."

A light flickered slowly in the small dark room, 4 walls, a mirror, a table, chairs and a camera, and of course an exit, this was all the robber had now, ever since that bat attacked they had been in constant fear, what if it was here, or there, or crawling its way through the vents for a sneak attack, he was tense and worried, almost jumping out his own body as the door slammed open, two officers here to conduct his investigation. "so, I'm sure you'd like to fill us in on the whole situation wouldn't you?" the investigators tone was harsh and brief,
"I-I'm telling you! That bat thing showed up out of nowhere! Smashed me into the wall and disappeared, it was a Dier, I swear!"
"calm down now, did you see it's owner? Anything about it?"
The robber quickly shook their head, still shakily searching the room for any signs of danger
"All I remember is a name, that's it, no owner, that's all, I swear.
" The investigators face brightened in excitement maybe they had gotten it now
"and its name was?" All they got was a single word in response, and the robber never spoke again after that "Decarabia."
