The Only Exception
Have you ever noticed that stories somehow always have a “fairytale” plot in them? You know like; she hates him, he secretly loves her, she start to love him, they love each other, world falls apart, they fight together, he do something stupid, he fixes it, they live happily ever after etc.
These are the stories I’ve grown up with, fall in love, do things that hurt, but clock will tick away and happiness will fall in place in time. I believe in love that way, not the soul mates exist. ONLY in the cheesy books, but I believe in falling in love.
I’ve fallen in love before it was cute and fuzzy and all that bull, but it ended. I was broken, thought the world was going to end. Then I found a new one, he was everything I wanted and dreamt of, but of course my parents thought it was about time I moved to New York and went to a boarding school there. Hallelujah!
Instead of shipping to a private school in England, they sent me away to freaking New York, how I love my parents. Sarcastic, oh yes indeed.
I actually hate my mom, people now think (“no you can’t mean that”), but yes I do. My mom is an evil little bit*h that likes to ruin my self-esteem. She calls me fat and stupid and makes me starve and things like that. Then the worst part is; she tells me she loves me and only wants me to have a happy life. Like hell yeah! Keep on saying stuff like that and I’m sure as hell end up being happy.
We’re not a happy family to explain things further.
So I’m going to USA now, I’m stuck on a plane alone, I don’t know anybody, I feel abandoned by my parents and my sister lives in London’s finest street and don’t care about anything beyond her life with her rich fiancée. Oh how convenient.
Let me tell you about myself:
I am a seventeen year old girl, I am blond and have brownish eyes. I love to sing and to ride, cheesy oh well what can I say. I like to dance and to act. I use to have loads of friends in Essex, my best friends are Georgie, Jo, Georgia and Nicole. I have many other friends, but I don’t think I need to mention them.
I start humming to one of my favorite songs, Black and Gold by Sam Sparro. It’s really catchy and it makes me want to jump out of my seat and start dancing. I look at the man beside me, he’s staring at me like I have three heads. I smile kindly at him and continue doing nothing fun.

The taxi driver stops outside a big brick building, I think it is the dorm house. It looks cozy and everything, but don’t judge the book by its cover.
Its shining lightly in the windows, only a handful of them was dark. The small Chinese taxi driver pokes me in my arm and slowly lifts his hand up to my face.
“Twenty dollars and 80 cents.” His Chinese accent makes me smile. I pull out some money for him and start walking up to the big brick building.
I remember back in England, I use to go to a boarding school. I loved it, because we would sneak out late at night and have wikid sleepovers. We would sometimes even invite boys, and to give you a little peak into my life back in England, things were kinda of out control.
