they whispered her name on the streets, hushed as if that would stop her from hearing them.

saaya, they'd murmur, when they thought they were alone. she stabbed them all, without even hesitation, those mindless fools would say, even as she stood right next to them. 

saaya was a monster, a rebirthed phoenix from a shell of a little girl. they feared her. they spent days and days praying to their celestes, hoping that neither them or their loved ones were her next victim. 

but given, she never chose them. they came running towards her. she'd make a promise, a promise she'll never keep. but still, these halfwits go to her. 

but the crowd only knew saaya. 

and if only they knew that saaya was much more than a girl with vengeance.

she just didn't think so.
