Chapter 52: Tyler's Birthday

"Um, by the way.. this is Sarah." I introduce her.

Sarah smiled and acknowledge Rachel.

"Rachel.. my close friend." I said smiling.

"Oh nice to see you.. hi!" Rachel spoke casually while hugging her once.

"I'll just go and find my boyfriend Ricky." Rachel mention as she left us.

"She's Ivan's cousin.." I mention to Sarah.

"Oh.. I see." She replied.

"Let's go find Tyler?" I suggested.

We got in front and Tyler was having conversations with other guest.

"Happy Birthday Tyler!" I said when he was no longer pre-occupied.

"Oh girl! thank you.." he hug me then he turn his attention to Sarah. " Hi Sarah.." he greets her.

"Happy birthday Ty! Thank you for inviting me too.." she said while hugging him too.

"Yes.. hope you guys enjoy the party." He replied estatically.

"Yes.. it's very sophisticated. You look great by the way." Sarah compliments him.

He wink and made a turn. 

"I'm trying to impress someone.." he said casually.

Sarah and I both chuckled softly.

"Well we hope you get your birthday wish. Good luck!". We said encouraging him.

We left him to entertain other guest.

We took some photos together and some with her favorite celebrities too.

We were just enjoying each other's company until a movie producer came up to me. 

I was pulled away from Sarah to discuss a future project with him. Tyler already mention it to me. I didn't want to leave Sarah on my side but I couldn't say no to the producer. I used to work closely with him when I wasn't still famous and he's one of the nicest one in the industry.

So we chat for about almost two hours and told me all about his idea for a film. He wanted to have a movie adaptation of certain best selling novel and he told me that he already talk to a director. He said I would be perfect for the role and he's been looking forward to have this talk with me. 

I nodded and said I was flattered to be chosen for it.

After some time, I excuse myself and told him we could discuss the project in more details in his office.

I look around for Sarah and I saw Rachel on my way.

"Hi Rachel.. have you seen Sarah around?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, I think I saw her somewhere over there." She said while pointing at the other side.
