The clock ticked-and ticked.

MELANIE HENDERSON FELT TIRED,
SHE WAS TIRED. SHE WAS SO TIRED
THAT SHE DID'NT WANT TO GET UP
AND GET DRESSED, SO TIRED THAT
HER BODY WAS COMPLETELY WEAK.

But she had a lot to do today, she had to get her brother, go to Steve's then come back home and
go to sleep— go to sleep after she ate something.

Letting out a tired sigh, the brunette stands up
from her bed. Walking over towards her dresser
that contained her clothes, she pulls out shorts
and a old AC/DC shirt. Putting it on she ties the laces of her white converses.

Tying her hair up into a ponytail she leaves her room, heading in the direction of the living room she grabbed her keys.

"Mom I'm heading out to pick Dustin up
from school!" Not waiting for a response from
her mom she opens the door, shutting it and
locking it she walks towards her car.

SHE WAITED, AND WAITED FOR
WHAT FELT LIKE YEARS; MELANIE
SAT IN HER CAR NEAR HER BROTHERS SCHOOL WAITING FOR THE CURLY HEAD BOY TO COME OUT. The brunette sat back in her seat singing to the songs coming on from her radio. Her brown eyes kept glancing every so often at the school seeing if her brother would walk out.

"Where is he?" Mumbled the brunette,
clear frustration in her tone, checking the time.

Where are any of them? She thought, realizing
she hadn't seen any of the party walk out of the parking lot.
