It had been proposed by Lee Joohun before his retirement from the industry, brought up once more by Im Heekyung upon the agreement that Han Seojun would return to being a trainee. But first, they had find other members and trainee them for debut.
What was proposed wasn't a traditional K-Pop group, it was more of a band, focused on exploring the instrumental talents that Han Seojun and the other future members would hold. Lee Joohun's final proposal was something unique, he wanted them to be unique. And Han Seojun, with the help of Watanabe Kenji, Song Hyunwoo and Kim Daehwan, would achieve that as Lee Joohun recovered from his brain haemorrhage in America.
