Leif's POV

I know I really messed up.

It was definitely because of me.

But if it were because of me, then why would she cry about it?

Unless...

She likes me back.

"Your majesty, do not use magic so recklessly! We can't-" I heard Rhys interrupt me from my thoughts. I snapped back into reality and realized Asch had gone invisible.

"Hah, I'm for this!" I interrupted Rhys, smiling. I quickly hid my horns and turned my physical appearance invisible.

I just wanted to go find Fal.

I followed after Asch, hearing Rhys call out for me.

Fal's POV

I was outside the pizza place, whatever that is. I was with Noi planning out our moves with Ava.

But I couldn't help but have that one person in the back of my mind.

"Fal?!" I heard Ava call my name.

"Huh?!" I exclaimed, realizing I had zoned out. I looked over at Ava. She had become red and was holding hands with Noi.

"Just...follow my lead!" Ava sighed, seemingly given up. I planned my next motives. I decided to just...fangirl about them together or something, I don't know.

"Mhm, got it," I said, slightly still zoned out. Suddenly, Ava's parents came out. I got into position and started to squeal, deciding if I should cry or laugh but trying not to do either.

"Oh! D-d-did we interrupt something? I-" Devon asked, then he noticed me squealing and looking at Ava and Noi's combined hands. He looked at what I was looking and gasped.

"Should I ask for a picture?! Because this moment is too precious!" Devon 'whispered' to Andrew, although I'm pretty sure Ava, Noi, and I could all hear him.

"No! We have to be calm and cool so they think we're hip!" Andrew replied. Hip-?

"No one says 'hip' anymore, Andrew! You're gonna make us seem desperate and weird!" Devon replied. I raised a brow and tilted my head.

"You know, it's weird that you're standing right in front of us and whispering loudly," Ava said. I grinned at her sarcasm. Both of her parents yelled in surprise.

"Heh, our apologies! We're just curious about...a lot of things!" Andrew apologized. I grinned at him.

"I'm sure they don't mind!" I said kindly, nudging Noi rougher than intended.
