Twenty One

You're a fucking maniac! Sadist and what not!

"Now that my story is over," he grabbed the gun, pulling the trigger. "Which one of you wants to die first?" He asked, moving the gun between Felix and me.

"No. Pl...please don't." I begged and sobbed again.

"Y-" he started but the immediate opening of the door with a loud thud cut him off. My eyes widened and relief washed over me when I saw Jessica, Penelope, Cops and two men in black dressing.

"Nobody is gonna move now. Jackson, get away from those two or you'll die along with your men." One of the cop said. Jackson still attempted and pointed the gun at me. There was loud bang and when I opened my eyes, I saw Jackson's arm bleeding.

There was a lot of firing that passed in a blur. Cops arrested everyone of them. Jessica and Penelope kneeled down near me while the men in black dressing kneeled near Felix.

"Mr Colton, are you alright?" One of them asked.

"I'm...so fucking... n-not." Felix stuttered out.

"There's a ambulance out there." Other one informed and picked him up.

I too got up, stumbling before falling down again. Jessica supported me and helped me walk out of that stupid dirty place.

"I'm sorry." Penelope whispered. I just nodded.

"Ms Parker." I looked up and saw the man who earlier was taking Felix with him. "Ambulance is this way. You can hand her to me now. Thank you for your help." He said to Jessica and Penelope.

He picked me up in his arms and last thing I saw before passing out was Jessica kissing Penelope's forehead.

"I don't want anymore bitter pills." Felix pouted. The nurse chuckled and shook her head.

"You have to, son or you'll have to spend four more days in the hospital here." The nurse said, handing him his pills. He rolled his eyes and gulped them down his throat. "Have a good rest." She said and left.

I caressed his knuckles and kissed them before intertwining then on my lap.

It had been two days since we were saved from that warehouse. Jackson is in jail for a lifetime and trust me, nothing feels better than this.

"Don't give me that look. I'm all fine now." Felix said, squeezing my hand. I chuckled and nodded. "Do you wanna hear it?"

"Only if you want to tell me." I whispered.

"Well, it happened something like this...." He gulped before starting. "When you told me the truth that day, I called my dad and told him everything because I knew the situation was out of our hands. He assigned two professionally trained bodyguards for us who would follow us from a distance. You know the two bike riders you were worrying about that night? Those two."

"Oh."

"Yeah. And when Jackson's men attacked us and took us with them, they both had lost our track because of the traffic and all. So, by the information I had told them, they contacted Jessica through your contact list. Jessica then contacted Penelope and she told them the location of the warehouse. She also told them about the other things that her father and brother do and that's when they called cops." He finished.

I sighed and caressed his knuckles before smiling. "I'm happy that you didn't think of yourself like a superman or something and told the situation to some adult." I chuckled and so did he before wincing again.

"Easy there, boy." I heard a girly and sarcastic chuckle from behind me. I turned and saw Penelope and Jessica standing there. I smiled at them and motioned them to come in.

"How are you, Alexa?" Penelope asked in a whisper. I smiled and hugged her, which was quite unexpected for her but she hugged me back.

"Thank you, Penelope. For helping us." I tell her.

"Enough now. Get your hands off of her." Jessica glared at me. I chuckled and pulled back, standing in front of her.

"Thank you, Jessica." I tell her. She just nodded, arrogantly.

"We just came here to see how you were doing. Since you're all fine now, I guess we should go. Come Penelope." With that, she dragged her out of the room. I chuckled and turned back to Felix. He opened his arms.

"Come here, baby." He said, making me giggle. He shifted to one side and made me lay down next to him. "We are safe. You don't need to worry now."

I leaned into him and sighed. "I love you Felix. Forever and Always."
