Pulling my head away from his chest, I was just about to wipe away my tears when he beat me to it.

Amane gently held my chin with one hand and used the other to gently wipe the tears off my face.

He stared lovingly into my teary eyes.

"It's okay." The boy pressed his forehead against mine and stared in my eyes for a few moments before closing them.

I followed suit and closed my eyes.

A few seconds later, I felt lips on mine.

It was over all too soon.

The kiss was soft and sweet.

Amane wrapped me in one last hug before standing up and offering a hand to me.

I took it and pulled myself up.

"Let's go."

I nodded, taking his hand in mine and intertwining our fingers.

We crashed the wedding and saved Nene from the angry people.

I grabbed her wrist and pulled her along with us.

"Y/n? Hanako?"

A small smile came into my face, "Yeah, let's get out of here."

"The wedding is cancelled." Amane announced.

"Sorry for not finding you sooner, Nene." I told her sincerely.

She smiled, "It's fine. I'm just glad you found me when you did."

The men started attacking us.

Amane and I fended them off.

Though there wasn't much I could do apart from martial art - and I wasn't all that good at martial art anyway.

I noticed a sharp object coming my way and I knew I couldn't dodge in time.

My eyes widened as I waited for it to pierce me, but it didn't.

When I opened my eyes, I saw black smoke and heard childish laughter.

"No one tries to hurt Y/n and gets away with it." A voice stated darkly.

I noticed Tsukasa stood in front of me. He was giving the men a creepy stare.

They all screamed and started to run but Tsukasa caught up with them and beat them up until they were begging for mercy.

He stared down at their battered forms before coming back over to me.

"N/n!" He jumped into my arms, "You're always getting yourself in trouble or having adventures with Amane. It's not fair!"

"Sorry." I sighed, my head falling into his.

"Huh?"

"Thanks Tsukasa." I lifted my head and looked honk the eyes.

"It's fine. I love you."

"Love you too."

I noticed the boundary start to shatter.

That means Nene went with Amane to go destroy the yorishiro.

"It's almost time." Tsukasa stated.

I hummed in agreement.

We were walking down the hallways holding hands.

"Let's go find Amane." I told him.

He nodded in agreement.

We wandered for a small while before going into a classroom to see Amane.

Sitting on the windowsill beside him, I looked out at the stars.

Tsukasa plopped himself down on next to me.

Both boys held my hands.

The school bell rang, signalling it had begun.

"It's time."

Both boys nodded.

I turned my head at the sound of the classroom door slamming open.

Nene stood there panting and then her eyes focused on us.

We all stood in front of her.

"Is something going to happen? The bell went off. And what about Aoi?"

"It's the Severance." I told her, a bit of my cheek had already crumbled off.

"Your body! It's breaking apart." Nene exclaimed in fear.

"Now that the girl has been offered up as a sacrifice, the human and supernatural worlds will be separated from now on." Amane explained.

"What do you.." Nene trailed off in confusion.

"We supernaturals will disappear from this world." I told her.

Her eyes widened, "Don't go! Y/n! Please don't go. I can't live without you. You're my best friend. You can't... please don't leave me behind."

I smiled sadly, "I'm sorry."

Nene wrapped her arms around my waist tightly, burying her face into my shoulder and sobbing.

"It'll be fine... you'll forget about all of this soon. You'll even forget about Aoi and me."

Nene gasped, pulling away from the hug, "But I don't want to forget!"

"Your wish has been fulfilled." Tsukasa commented, "Your life span has been extended because Aoi died in your stead."

Tears filled Nene's eyes, "Don't lie. It's not funny."

"I'm sorry, Nene. But...it's the truth."

After that, we all shattered and faded away.

Lots of glass Doritos being left behind.

I frowned, "Do you think she'll be okay?"

Amane nodded, "She'll have to be fine."

"Hey, let's go play." Tsukasa grinned, brightening up the mood.

Playing wouldn't hurt. It'd take my mind off everything for a while.
