Mine to Love

Chapter-1

Xian Zhan

"Mom and dad, I want a puppy." Both of his parents looked at their 10 years old son and refused him. He was about throw more tantrum when Xian's favorite uncle walked in with a huge box. He ran towards him to get his gift. His uncle patted his head and gave him his brand-new toy.

Mr. Zhan walked in and hugged his friend. "Yu you should stop spoiling him. Day by day he is becoming more demanding." He bowed to give his greetings to Mrs. Zhan and said, "He is just a kid let him be. By the way meet my wife Yana." A woman walked in while carrying a baby. Mr. and Mrs. both looked at Yu, "My friend we haven't met each other for a long time and you already have a kid." Yu smiled gave a side hug to his wife and carried his one-year old baby. "My daughter is beautiful right?" Both of them nodded and patted the smiley baby.

"Xian!" called his mother, "Come here." He came out of his room and saw his mom was carrying a cute baby. He walked towards her mother, "Uncle Yu's baby?" His mother nodded, "She is cute. Give her to me." He completely ignored his mother and took the baby from her hand. He bounced her a little in his arms while the baby gave him a bright smile which melted his heart. "You don't cry much do you? Hmmm I like you." He looked at his mom, "I will take her. You go mom." Xian took her to his room and showed all his toys to her. He even gave her a toy so that she can play. He put her on the bed with some toys and pulled her on his lap. After a while playing the baby started to whimper and started looked at Xian with teary eyes. "What's wrong?" He looked at her for a moment and got a hint that she might be hungry as she was touching her stomach again and again.

He took her out of the room to find his mom. "Mom!"

"Xian over here." Both ladies walk towards him. "I think she is hungry." Mrs. Zhan smile and gave the baby to Yana. "Xian this is aunty Zhan and she is your Yu uncle's wife and the baby's name is Yu Bei Wei." Yana patted Xian's head and smiled at him, "Xian do you want to feed the baby?" He nodded his head. While feeding Bei Wei he asked Yana, "She doesn't cry much? Does she?" Yana nodded, "She didn't cry because she likes you." Xian patted her head, "I like her too."

Mr. Zhan and Mr. Yu were really great friends so both of the family shifted to a nice neighborhood so that they can live nearby. They also wanted their kids to grow up together like they did in their childhood when they lived in the same neighborhood.
