                           Harry's POV

The next day me, Draco, and Ron where in the great hall eating. Last night we followed spiders into the woods found out the girl that died in a bathroom. They aren't the monsters. Also Hagrid got sent to Azkaban by Clearwater's parent and Draco's dad. Of course me and Ron don't blame Draco he was with the weasleys he couldn't have known anything. Then ginny comes to us
"Have you guys seen y/n she wasn't in her dorm"
"No i haven't" I said as Ron and Draco shake their head
"Well let me know if you see her please i'm worried"
"ok" she walked and sat with the twins as Draco started talking
"Ok no i'm worry now what happened to her can we go look for her please"
"Yea let's go" I tell him as we all stand up we start to walk around we check, the black lake, the library, The Court yard (I think that's what it's called). But she wasn't anywhere we asked Alex and them but they hadn't seen her. We decided to go see Hermione maybe we'll be there. When we go there she wasn't there we just sat with Hermione. Draco held on her hand as me and Ron stood on the other side.
"Wish you were here Hermione, we need you. Now more than ever" I said Draco called us over we saw that she had a paper in her hand. I read it we found out that it's a basilisk, a snake, and we found out it was using pips to get to places. It's also supposed to kill but y/n has just been petrifying them. Wow she was taking the hit i feel even more horrible. I think we all do. We were walking to find a Professor until we heard Professor Mcgonagall

'All students are to return to their house dormitories at once. All teachers to the second floor corridor immediately'

Me, Draco and Ron decided to go we hid behind a wall listening to what happened
"As you can see the heir of Slytherin has left another message. Our worst fear had been realized. A student has been taken by the monster into the chamber itself. The students must be sent home, I'm afraid this is the end of Hogwarts" Lockhart then came
"so sorry. Dozed off what have I missed"
"A girl has been snatched by the monster lockhart. Your moment has come at last" Snape said
"M-My moment?"
"weren't are you saying just last night that you've known all along where the entrance to the chamber of secrets is?" Mcgonagall then joins in
"That's settel. We'll leave you to deal with the monster, Gilderoy. your skills after all are legend"
"Very well uh i'll just be in my office getting.....uh...... getting ready" with that he left as Madame Pomfrey asked
" Who is it that the monster taken, Mineva?"
"Y/n lupin-black" I see snape look like he's seen a ghost and looked like he was.....hurt/scared/ angry i don't know but his expression wasn't plan this time. They all walked away as the wall read

" her skeleton will lie in the chamber forever"

we read it as Draco falls to the floor
"Y/n, why did this happen to her i shouldn't have left her alone"
"Let's go to lockhart" i say
"why what can he do" we start to run to his office
"Lockhart may be useless but he's going to try and get into the chamber. At least we can tell him him what we know" When we ran in we see him.....Packing? " professor we have some information for you" I looked around again "Are you going somewhere" i started to get angry he can't just leave y/n down there !
"uh,well,yes um.... urgent call. unavoidable. uh..... Got to go.
"What about my cousin/sister" ron and draco yell
"Weasley i thought you only had one sister"
"Your wrong i have 2 if my not be by blood but still"

"Oh well that- as fo that most unfortunate. No one regrets that more than I"
"You're the defense against the Dark arts teacher. you can't go now" Draco said
"Well i must say when i took the job there was nothing in the job description about-" he tried to leave but i went in front of him to stop him.... Oh hell no "Your running away!? After all that stuff you did in your books?!"
"Books can be misleading"
"You wrong them"
"My dear boy, do you use your common sense! My books wouldn't have sold half as well if people didn't think i'd done all those things!" Fraud! i can't believe him and y/n's life is on his hands !
"You're a fraud. You've been taking credit for what ogend wizards have done"
"Is there anything you can do?" Ron asks
"Yes. Now you mentioned it. I'm rather gifted with memory charms. Otherwise, you see, all those wizards would have gone blabbing, and i'd never have sold another book. In fact uh.... I'm going to have to do the same to you" he said going to his wand but me, Draco and Ron had our wands already pointing to him.
"Don't even think about it" Draco told him he dropped his wand. We lead him to moaning myrtle's bathroom to the sink as we hear myrtle crying. But she stopped when she sees us
"Oh who's there? oh! hello Harry,Draco. What do you guys want?" I look at Draco as he asks
"To ask you how you died"
"Oh it was dreadful. It happened right here in this very cubicle. I'd hidden because Olive Hornby was teasing me about my glasses. I was crying and then i heard somebody come in"
"Who was it Myrtle" I asked
"I don't know. I was distraught! but they said something funny a kind is made-up language and I realized it was a boy speaking so I unlocked the door to tell him to go away and I died"
"Just like that?" i ask
"How" Draco finished
"I just remember seeing pair of great, big, yellow eyes over there by the sink" I walked over there and saw a sink, that doesn't work, with a snake on it
"This is it, This is it Ron,Draco. I think this is the entrance to the chamber of Secrets"
"say something" Ron said
"Harry in parseltongue" Draco said
