[He borrows Corvus's glaive and stabs Heimdall through the heart, twisting the blade in the wound.]

Thor: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

"No, no no no! NOOOOOO!" Thor yells. Loki looks away in shame.

"Thor, buddy let's just keep watching." Tony says to Thor. Thor just nods in response.

Thor: You're going to die for that!

[Ebony May seals Thor's mouth shut with a pair of metal braces.]

Ebony Maw: Shhhhh...

[He kneels before Thanos, offering up the Tesseract]

Ebony Maw: My humble personage...bows before your grandeur.

Ebony Maw: No other being has ever had the might, nay the nobility, to wield not one, but two Infinity Stones.

[Thanos takes the Tesseract...]

Ebony Maw: The universe lies within your grasp.

[...before crushing it, revealing the blue Space Stone. He blows some of the fractals away, fingering the Stone between his thumb and index, before placing it on the gauntlet.]

[Thanos is momentarily rocked by the surge of energy that pulses as the stone seats in its setting.]

Thanos: There are two more Stones on Earth.

Thanos: Find them, my children, and bring them to me on Titan.

Proxima Midnight: [Kneeling] Father, we will not fail you.

Loki: [Emerging from behind the Black Order, cheerfully] If I might...interject... if you're going to Earth, you might want a guide. I do have a bit of...experience in that arena.

"How could you Loki! How!" Thor yells at Loki. Loki looks like he wants to say something.

"Thor... maybe he has a plan... who am I kidding we knew this was going to happen." Tony says.

Thanos: [Unimpressed] If you consider failure experience.

Loki: I consider experience, experience.

"Loki what does he mean by that!? Have you been working with him this whole time?!" Thor yells at Loki. Loki just looks guilty.

Loki: Almighty Thanos, I...Loki...Prince of Asgard...

[He looks significantly at Thor.]

Loki:...Odinson...

Loki: The rightful King of Jotunheim... God of Mischief...o hereby pledge to you...

[Thor squints and notices a dagger materialize in Loki's hand.]

Unlike his on-screen counterpart, Thor doesn't notice this. The only people to do so are Loki himself, Natasha and Bucky.

"Loki?" Thor asks. He's not sure about what this Loki has planed.

Loki:...my undying fidelity.

[Loki braces himself, thrusts upward with lightning speed and attempts to skewer The Mad Titan's neck, but is frozen in place by the Space Stone's power before the point could strike home.]

Thanos: "Undying?"

Thanos: You should choose your words more carefully.

"Loki! NO!" Thor shouts. Loki looks at Thor but doesn't say anything.

[Thanos twists the dagger out of Loki's hand with his right hand, then takes hold of Loki's neck with the gauntlet and lifts him to eye level. Loki struggles, kicking, as his throat is squeezed. He makes eye contact with Thor before he increases his force on Loki's neck.]

[Loki eventually gives up on trying to set himself free.]

Loki: you...will never be...

Loki:...a god.

[Thanos crushes Loki's neck, killing him.]

Thor:[Muffled] NO!

"NO! Loki! Why... why would you... do that?" Thor says to Loki tears in his eyes. Loki takes a deep breath in before he speaks.

"Brother...I am truly sorry. I had no choice... It was one of us or both of us. I..." Loki doesn't add anything else. Everyone else looks at the brothers not saying anything.

"Loki I'm sorry. I just want you to know that I lied there... your not the worst brother... if anything your the best." Thor tells Loki. They look at each other for a few seconds, then they get up and hug each other.

"Not to ruin the moment or anything but we should probably keep watching this." Sam tells the brothers.

[He walks over and drops Loki's body in front of Thor.]

Thanos: No resurrections this time.

[Thanos raises the gauntlet, sends violet Power fire through the remains of the Statesman, and uses the Space Stone to teleport away with the Black Order.]

Thor: No...Loki....

[Thor is released from his bonds. He crawls over to Loki's body -- which, unlike in The Dark World, has not returned to its Jotun form -- and lays his head down on Loki's chest, shedding tears for all that he has lost. The ship explodes.]

[The Bifrost continues its journey, bringing the Hulk across space to Earth.]

"Let's have a break." Andie says to the group. No one disagrees with her.
