Gratsu {Gray x Natsu} Fanfic

Chapter Two

It's the next day and Natsu has decided that he will go to the guild. He figured hanging out with his friends and getting a drink or two would help with what he's had on his mind. Little did he know that Gray had the same idea in mind.

Natsu had just gotten out of bed and started getting ready. He figured he would take a nice warm shower to start the day. After his shower, he started to get dressed in his regular attire. He looked around trying to find Happy. He couldn't find his small flying cat friend.
¨Hey Happy, where are you?¨ he called out. He heard a noise coming from the bedroom, thinking that it's most likely Happy. He walks over to the bedroom, as he goes to open the door he gets a feeling in his gut. Almost as if it's not happy, but instead an intruder. He stops for a second and thinks about it, but then he remembered that Happy had told him that he was taking a nap while he got ready. Without a second thought, Natsu kicks open the door, worried about his exceed. He looks around frantically, till finally, he looks near the window. He sees a mysterious figure.

'Probably a dark mage.' he says in his head. He sees that the mysterious figure has Happy. The mysterious figure looks towards Natsu, then jumps out the window and starts running. Natsu follows without hesitation, angered that this mysterious figure showed up out of nowhere and is trying to kidnap Happy. As he was running behind the figure, he bumps into someone and ends up on top of them.

¨Ah, I'm sorry!¨ he says hurriedly. He goes to start chasing the mysterious figure again, till someone grabs his wrist.

¨Natsu, what's wrong?¨ he hears them ask. As he heard that, he knew exactly who it was. It was Gray. Natsu's heart starts beating so fast, that he thinks that it might explode. He turns and faces Gray while feeling his face heating up. Natsu looks up at Gray and notices that his cheeks are tinted pink. He has also noticed that Gray hasn't let go of his wrist. Natsu snaps back into reality and explains what happened. Gray has decided to help Natsu get Happy back. They both start to look for the mysterious figure and Happy. Sometime later, they spotted them. They have already made a plan while looking for them. Natsu sneakily walked up behind them. The mysterious figure turned his head and saw Natsu. The mysterious figure goes to attack, but Gray uses his ice-make magic and captures the figure. Natsu walks up to the figure and uses his dragon slayer fire magic and unfreezes Happy. Happy clings onto Natsu. Gray hits the nape of the figure and knocks them out. He has Natsu melt the ice and then throws him over his shoulder. Like a sack of potatoes. They start walking to the guild. As they walk, their hands lightly brush against each other. They look at each other and blush. Natsu starts to apologize, but Gray cuts him off by grabbing his hand. While doing so, Natsu becomes a blushing mess. He looks off to the side. Gray chuckles at Natsu's reaction, finding him cute. They continue walking to the guild. Once they get there, they turn in the mysterious figure. Turns out, the mysterious figure was a mage from a dark guild. Capturing him was a task to do. He has been going around causing chaos. Master Makarov gave each Gray and Natsu 1,000 jewels. They start walking back to Natsu's home. Gray has asked Natsu if he could stay the night and Natsu said yes.
