You belong with me

chapter 10

When i got back home i sat on my bed and just gazed through my window going through everything in my head about me and jake.

I rememberd all the great times we had laying on the feild and talking and laughing. I dont know weather we will be doing those kind of things again though now. I hope we still do.

Beep beep.

I looked at my phone and its a text from jake.

Jake: hey lucy do u wanna meet me at the feild, im waiting for u?

Me: sure i'll be right there.

I quickly shove my phone in my pocket and slip my converse on. I run up my lane and rush onto the feild.

"Hey" jake says holding his arms open.

"Hi!" I say running up to him but i didnt hug him or jump into his arms like i usually do.

"Lucy are we ok?"he says sitting down beside me.

"Yes i think we are"i say

" you know i was thinking today me and you have a really good relationship not in love but just a strong bond that could never be broken" he says, he nudges me down onto the ground so im looking at the sky.

" i know me and you as a couple arent right but we will always have each other" i say smiling.

" you belong with me dont you lucy" he says

" well not in a love way but as a friend im your best friend and only your best friend no one elses. Therefore i guess i do belong to you" i say laughing after

" yep you do hehe" he says laughing too.

Jake had to go and i went back home.

I realised that you can have a really close relationship with a boy but not love them and me and jake have a special bond i guess. I couldnt ask for a better best friend and we really do belong with each other i guess.
