With that, you unlocked your door and waited for your first appointment to arrive. The compute in front of you showed the names, ages, quirks, and incidents each student would be coming to see you for today. Now all you could do was wait.

It was about an hour and a half later that the knock on your door came. With one final breath, you prepared yourself for what was to come and called for the student to enter.

"Good morning, sensei." The girl with the brown bob spoke, coming in and taking a seat across from you.

"Good morning, Uraraka!" You greeted, a smile stretching across your face. "So, where should we start?"

Uraraka sighed, running a hand through her locks. "I guess I'm here to talk about what happened recently at my internship."

You nodded. "Okay. Let's start at the beginning then."

Uraraka nodded and slowly started to delve into what had happened. You listened to her carefully, starting to use your quirk slowly. A mood of calmness came from you and spread through the room.

Your quirk was one that put out different pheromones that would make whoever smelled them react and copy the emotion they put out. You often only used it to create calm, open, and comforting environments.

This helped your job greatly, as it allowed students to not feel like they should be embarrassed or ashamed of their feelings. It also helped them open up to you and see you as someone who only wanted to help them.

Uraraka's issue seemed to stem from how she messed up on a mission and that her senpai had gotten injured as a result.

"I just feel so... so bad." Uraraka whined. "Hadou-senpai had to take the brunt of the attack for me, cause I wasn't ready! I feel like I let everyone down."

You hummed. "I can see where you are coming from. But have you tried talking to Hadou? She may have seen it as something else. You are her kouhai after all, and a senpai is supposed to protect and set an example for their kouhai."

Uraraka blinked and then slowly nodded. Her lips trembled and before you knew it, she was crying right before you. You hummed gently, making sure to extend your quirk a little more to help her through this.

"It's okay." You spoke gently. "We all make mistakes."

"I'm going to make sure that next time... its me who's going to protect Hadou-senpai!" She cried out, grabbing a tissue you held to her.

Uraraka dabbed her eyes and sniffled. The conversation went on for a little more from there. You discussed strategies to help her in the future, both in fighting and in controlling her emotions. By the time the hour was over, Uraraka was back to her usual smiling self.

"Thank you, sensei!" She bowed politely to you. "I'm going to do my best again!"

You nodded to her and watched as she closed the door. You inhaled and looked up to the clock. You had a fifteen-minute break before the next student came in. Fifteen minutes to compose yourself and give your quirk a break before it would begin again.

Now it was only a matter of getting through the rest of your list and making sure you didn't show your own cracks to the students who needed you.

~~~~~
Six students.
You didn't know how you were able to advise and comfort six different hero course students today. Especially since each of them had been so different and you had pushed yourself and your quirk to the max today.
Your mind still lingered on what they all said to you as the final bell rang. You inhaled slowly, seeing as it was your turn to use certain breathing exercises to try and calm your nerves. You breathed in slowly, trying to feel the way in which your lungs expanded and then released the air. You counted to ten several times, using the intervals of five as a sign of when to inhale and exhale.
It didn't help though, and you could feel your mind start to run. Your panic that it was happening again today and so early didn't help make you calm down. Instead, it made you frantic. Your eyes were now zooming about your office, looking for something or anything to distract you from what was slowly starting to happen and would get worse as the moments ticked on.
Your hands flew up into your hair and your pacing started. You could feel the water start to prick on the edges of your eyes. You shook your head, breaking the tears before they could start. Your mind was distracted by your efforts to not start your manic crying here and thus you missed how your foot caught onto the leg of your chair.
You let out a yelp as you fell over and landed roughly on the carpeted floor. You groaned, feeling the tears once more bubbling up. But this time, it wasn't from the growing panic in your mind, but instead how your left cheek possibly had a rug burn and that your right ankle seemed to have been twisted in the fall.
You inhaled again, failing pathetically to calm yourself. You could only roll up into a little ball and sniffle pathetically as the seconds ticked by like hours. Your lungs burned, begging for air. But it was difficult to give them what they craved, as your breathing was ragged thanks to the cries and hiccups that were occupying your lips.
How long you stayed tucked away behind the desk and cried about the pain you felt you didn't know. But just as suddenly as you had fallen, you felt a new emotion starting to take over your form at the same speed.
Panic.
Your eyes opened, allowing tears to freely fall now. Your hues of (eye color) zoomed across the familiar room, which seemed anything but at this moment. All you knew at this moment was that you needed to get out of here. You needed to run, to escape, to go somewhere that wasn't here.
You slowly started to pick yourself up, mind not focusing on the mess you once more left your office in and made your way towards the door. Your hand was about to touch the handle when a knock came from the other side of it.
Everything at that moment froze for you.
Your mind slowed instantly and it was as if your quirk had the ability to slow time now. You became that much more aware of what state you were in at that moment and you could feel the single tear that dripped down from your right eye.
"W-who's there?" You cursed yourself for the voice crack.
"It's Aizawa." His voice came back through the door. "I've come to get the information on my students who came to see you today."
"O-Oh." Your voice continued to shake. "Give me a moment."
Aizawa didn't respond, but you could tell he was still outside and waiting. Well of course he was! He just told you why he was here! He wasn't just going to disappear right after he got here!
Shaking the negative thoughts from your head, you tried your best to collect yourself. You slapped your cheeks lightly again, put on the best smile you could, and wiped the tears away from your eyes and face. All you had to do was make it through a little talk with Aizawa.
After that, you could pack up, head home, and continue this little breakdown in the comfort and isolation of your own apartment!
With the petty pep talk completed, you slowly unlocked the door and waved in your co-worker. A silent wish in your heart hoped you could get through this without incident and without making a complete fool out of yourself.
