Hot Chocolate.

It was a dull sullen day, and you really weren't looking forward to going out. In all honesty it just looked like it was going to rain. And rain and rain, and you weren't excited. Sure, you loved the rain, but getting soaked on your way to work was so something no one appreciated. Dejectedly you dragged your way out of bed and into the bathroom where started getting ready for the day.

About 30 minutes later you were ready for your shift at the coffee shop. You quickly locked the house and left.

You just about missed the shower, because the minute you got settled in for your shift, it began to pour. Rain pelted the windows, and it began to blow. Cold air seeped into the cafe making you shiver. Suddenly the bell on the top of the door rang. You looked up to see a handsome boy with jet black hair walk in. His hair was plastered to his face making his brown eyes stand out. He walked towards the counter, an you greeted him and asked him his order. He smiled at you and ordered some hot chocolate.

"Can I have a name with the order?" You asked.
"Nico," he replied with another soft smile.
Quickly you got his order ready as he took a seat. You gave him his order and left to tend to the others.

You saw him regularly after that. He'd come in every morning and order the same thing everyday. He'd give you the same smiles, and ask how your day was.

One day however, he just stopped coming. You became sad and worried, but most of all, you missed his smile and the sound of his voice.

About 3 moths after he stopped coming, you were back at the cafe for another shift. You were bored because of the lack of customers and were checking your phone, until your attention was pulled back to the door bell ringing.

A familiar mop of black hair came into view, and a familiar voice greeting you. Nico was back. You grinned widely at him, and before he could tell you his order you beat him to it.

You asked, "Would you like anything else with that hot chocolate?"

He replied, "Just your time, because I was wondering if you'd let me take you out to dinner?"

You smiled, "Of course I'd go out with you, but seriously do you need anything with that hot chocolate? You're sort of holding up the line that just appeared behind you."

He laughed, paid and when to get a seat. But this time, after he finished his hot chocolate he didn't leave. Instead he waited for you to end you shift and then took you out to dinner.
