28: Hospital

"Isn't that hers?" Jungwon points at a wet white hoodie ripped open

Both of the them stared at it in fear. Still denying the truth that she did suicide. Yeonjun slowly walked to get the hoodie. Jungwon was still frozen trying to understand what happened

"Hyung do you think?" Jungwon asked if his hunch was right. Yeonjun was contemplating what to tell the younger

He didn't want Jungwon to be scared or lose hope yet the evidence is right in front of them. Both of them stood there denying the truth, making up scenarios to cover up what they saw

"It's probably someone else's. We could be wrong so let's not think of anything bad." Yeonjun told Jungwon and the younger giving out a small smile

Yeonjun clenched the hoodie close to him. Not caring if it was soaking wet. Part of him is convinced it's hers, the other part was denying it as much as possible

Jungwon on the other hand was lost in regret. His only friend that made an effort to get to know him and be patient with him despite the fact that his social abilities aren't as good as others

"What are you to her then?"

As usual the hospital was busy, people being rushed in the ER. From accidents, heart attacks and other complications seen in the room. Nurses, medical staff and doctors were doing their job

Running here and there, time is always crucial for our medical personnel. Every second counts because you never know what you can do with that second. Can the patient live or pass on?

Only Lee Daein can answer that question. Does she really want to disappear or just be found in this world? A mind that wants to die but a body ready to do anything to live and a heart ready to love again

"What happened to her?" The doctor asks the nurse pushing the bed to the emergency room. Checking her eyes, pulse and heart beat

"She was found at the under the bridge, drowning but a police saw her and got her out of the water." The nurse replied to the nurse

"Bring her to the operation room." The doctor tells the nurse. The nurse nodded looking at Daein, getting her hair out of her face

"It will be fine. Trust us." The nurse whispers to the unconscious kid giving a small smile

"Are you the guardian?" The nurse asks the stranger outside the room where Daein was

"For now." The lady stands up from her seat heading inside the room. Followed by the nurse earlier. She stared at Daein with no emotion at all

"You know you should at least show emotions to her. She fought well." The nurse said clasping his hands together looking at the Daein fondly

"No need. I saved her, I did my job as a part of the police." The nurse's face was in disbelief of what he heard

"Smile." The nurse said in a intimidating way with his deep voice staring into the lady's soul

"Just this time Hyungwon." The lady gives up having  a disgusted face

"You'll figure it out Tzuyu. You're human after all anyways, you have emotions. Just interact with humans." Hyungwon smiles ear to ear. Tzuyu rolls her eyes, her expression changing into a annoyed one
