much to do about nothing

Start from the beginning

“line?” I frowned.
“Eva please, I’m not messing about” Edward begged. I walked over towards him without seeing the urgency.

“we need to go home, hunting cancelled” he told me.

“I’m older than you, you can’t boss me about... plus I’m hungry” I pouted.

“if you won’t listen to me, I’ll ring Esme or Carlisle, I’m sure you will listen to them” he snapped and started running back. with a sigh I followed him.

*

“Evangelise” Carlisle sighed disappointedly.

“I didn’t mean to” I pouted.
“be more careful next time” Carlisle instructed.

“sure, now can I go hunt” I sighed.
“best not, we can hunt tomorrow” Esme smiled.

“fine” I rolled my eyes and walked over to the piano to play it for a while.

It was about one in the morning when I got a random phone call. I frowned and looked at the number.

“Hey” Jeremy’s voice breathed down the phone.

“greetings” I muttered.

“did I wake you up?” he asked.
“no, but why you ringing me now” I frowned.
“I was bored and thought I’d see if you were awake” he answered.
“so what you doing?” I asked.

“watching dead silence... you?” his voice seemed to grin down the phone at me.
“avoiding my family” I shrugged.
“”why” he mocked.

“merh, who cares... family issues” I muttered.

“wanna come over? My mum’s working the night shift so I could use the company” he offered.

“I don’t know where you live” I laughed.

“I’ll be there in ten to pick you up if you want” he offered.

“sure” I smiled.

I quickly packed a small bag of stuff for school tomorrow and walked down to the front door.

“Eva, where you going” Esme frowned.
“out” I shrugged.

“you know we said no one was leaving the house for the rest of the night” she muttered.
