My Pirate King | Ateez Fanfiction

Waking up this morning, there was a bright and warm buzz to my apartment’s normal bleak and
dull feeling. Today was a very exciting day for me and my career! My company, KQEntertainment, is having their hot new boy group, Ateez, do a debut performance today.

I hadknown for a long time that this day was to come, but today was finally the day, and I get to stylethese boys for their debut showcase!

I didn’t know much about the group, only what I needed to know in order to do my job correctly, of course. As far as I knew it was a group of 8 boys who are debuting with a song called “Pirate King”, judging by the title of the song, it wasn’t hard for me to figure out on my own that their
styling concept for today would have a pirate-y feel to it.

I’ve seen them around a few times
before, but I’ve never personally gotten to meet or style them yet.
I quickly got myself ready and headed out of my apartment, making my way to a dry cleaningstore that most of the entertainment companies do business with, which is not far from myhome.

There was an order there that I was in charge of picking up. It was all the clothes the boys wore for their music video that they’d be wearing in their debut showcase as well. I had never seen them before, that's just what I was told.

I quickly walked through the shop's doors, smiling at the person working the front desk.

“Hello, I’m here to pick up a large cleaning order under KQ Entertainment for Ateez.”

The receptionist nodded and typed on the computer quickly, reading the screen she looked backto me, “I’ll have the order right out ma’am.”

She walked to the back and not too long after came back with two incredibly large boxes with
their clothes inside.

She sat them down on the desk then pulled out a clip tray, “Alrighty ma’amhere are the clothes. If you could I just need you to sign here and here for them.” She spoke asshe pointed to different spots on the paper.

I nodded and took the pen attached to the clipboard and signed where needed then carefully
took the boxes, “Thank you so much!"

She hummed in response as I made my exit.

I practically skipped into my company to check in at the desk, “Hi Ms. Gaeun! I’m here to checkin, I have the clothes for the new boys too!”

“Happy this morning hmm? Alright well I’ll sign you in.” She paused for a moment to inspect theboxes then continued to type on her computer, “I’ll finish checking you in, and you need to takethis box here down to the Mnet building that’s where you’ll be styling. The boys will be there
soon, so hurry along and get everything set up.”

I quickly nodded and took one of the boxes and scurried off out of the company building, luckilycatching a cab not too long after. The driver swiftly and quickly drove as I requested and Ieventually made it to Mnet Studios.

Rushing inside I checked in and made my way to the back where a few of my coworkers were.The coworker I was closest with, Jisoo, promptly greeted me. She had an excited buzz, as did
the entire room, just like I did.

“Hi Soyeong!! I see you brought the clothes for the boys. Oh my gosh are you excited? I’mexcited! AHH I’ve never been so excited!!”She was… Definitely the energetic type to say the least…

She took the box from me and laid it down to cut open, “Okay let’s get to hanging these clotheson the rack for the boys!”

“Right!” I nodded with a smile and quickly got to unpacking and hanging with her.

The outfitswere wonderful, I took a particular liking to an outfit that had a bright red jacket. It was very vibrant and really popped.

After we finished hanging up clothes I started organizing my own little corner of makeup, thoughI didn’t have much time as I would have liked before the boys came.
