1:6 Love and Sacrifice

Following the Captains orders, I light them up and slice them one the ground while blowing gusts of wind to throw the ones flying around off course. I feel my self getting exhausted. "Ash, How you doing down there?" Clint asks over the coms. I blast another alien off a car. "I'm doing great." I tell him. An alien comes up behind me and throws me to the ground. I groan as I roll to my feet, bringing my swords up to slice it in half. The guts get on me. "Man, this is going to take forever to get off of my suit." I say in a whiny voice as I throw more fire. I also start throwing rocks. "Just keep fighting. These things aren't going to stop coming." Tony says. I huff and run for cover as more aliens target me. I see tony flying around, blasting them out of the sky. More aliens come up behind him. I ready a fireball to throw at them, but they blast him first. "TONY!!" I yell. I get up to run over to him. "I'm fine, kid. Stay where you are. My suit can't fly but I can still shoot them down here." He says. "Ok. Just be careful old man." I say, going back to fighting. He scoffs. "I'm not the old one. That's Cap." He says. I laugh. I Blast More and More aliens. "This isn't going to do anything if we can't close that portal." I tell Tony. "I think Natasha is on that one." He says looking behind me. I turn to see the red head on one of the aliens hover bikes. "Babe, What the hell are you doing?!" I yell over the coms. I hear her laugh. "No idea yet. I'm trying to get to the Tesseract." She says. I shake my head. I see her land on the Stark tower. "That woman is going to be the death of me." I mumble. "I heard that." She says. I blast more aliens and hit them with rocks. "Well, It's true." I say. "Ashton. Stark." I hear over the coms. "Yes?" we ask. "This is Fury. We have a problem. There is a nuclear missile headed your way." He says. I feel my mouth go dry. "How much time do we have." Stark asks. I fight the aliens while I listen. "ETA is 1 minute." He says. "Dammit." Stark says. I look at Stark. That when I made up my mind.  I fly up. "Ashton, What are you doing?" He asks me. "Probably something very stupid." I tell him. "Ashton, Please don't do this." He says sadly. "I'm the only one who can." I respond. I see the missile and fly towards it. "I can close it. Does anyone copy. I can close it." I hear Natasha say. "Wait don't do it yet. I have a nuclear missile. And I know exactly where to put it." I tell her. "Ashton, Please tell me that doesn't mean what I think it means." I hear her say. I fly Under the missile. "Okay. It doesn't mean what you think it means." I tell her with a laugh. "Ashton, that's a one way trip." Cap says. I sigh and start to fly up, Pushing the missile. "It's this or we all die." I tell Him. "Ashton, baby, Please don't do this." Natasha says. I try not to cry. "There's no other way." I tell her. I fly through the portal. I start to feel light headed. dark spots cover my vision as my body stops. The last thing I see before I black out is a large explosion.

Third person P.O.V.

"Come on. Come on." Natasha says. She looks into the black hole to see if she can see you. "Close it." Cap says. Natasha feels her heart breaking. "Just give it a few more seconds." Natasha pleads. "You gotta close it, Tasha." Clint says. With tears rolling down her face, Natasha pushes Loki's scepter into the Tesseract. She then grapples down to meet the others. They all look at her with sad expressions. Tony places a hand on her shoulder as they all look to the sky and watch the portal close.  After what feels like an eternity, It closes. But not before a body falls through. "I'll be damned." Cap says. They watch you fall. "She's not slowing down." Tony says. Thor starts to swing his hammer, preparing to catch the woman falling from the sky. Just as he was about to, the Hulk jumps up and catches her. He lays her down on the ground. Natasha runs to the woman's side and takes of her helmet. "She's not breathing." She says. She starts to do CPR and its not working. Then the Hulk growls and the woman gasps and sits up. 

Ashton's P.O.V.

I sit up with a gasp. I feel someone pull me into a hug. I hug back, knowing it's Natasha. I pull back and look at her face. It has tear stains on it. She pulls me in and Kisses me hard. She pulls back. I look at her with a smile. Then She Punches me. Right. In. The face. "Don't you ever scare me like that again!" she yell. I hold my face and start to laugh. "I'm alright, love." You tell her. She huffs and crosses her arms. You look around and see the team standing there with smiles on their faces. "Any one want shawarma? I've never had it, but want to try it. There's a great shawarma place down the street." Tony says. I look at him and see he has a big smile on his face. "We're not done yet." Cap says, looking up at the tower. Right, Loki. I start to stand up. Natasha moves to help me. I put my are around her shoulder as she holds my waist. "Right, But shawarma after." I say looking at Tony. "I'm glad your alright, Kid. I was worried I was going to have to pay for Natasha's therapy." He says. I laugh as she sends him a glare. "Lets go get that asshat." I say as we all make our way to the tower.
