now, i'm going to be honest. i've liked jacob since i met him on cobra kai. i was always jealous hannah played his love interest for some time. but i never hated her or was mad at her for it. but recently, i got a call that my character is going to be hawk's love interest for season 4 (idk just go with me for this)

"did you hear xolo?" i say. xolo is the only one that knows i like jacob

"what?" he says shoving chips in his mouth

"don't talk with food in your mouth." i say

"sorry mOm" he says

"shut up. anyways, i got a call last night that my character is going to be hawks love interest for season 4. i might as well just pass away." i say

"oh my gosh. look at youuuuu. you'll do great. just don't make it obvious that you like him like you always do." he says

my eyes widen. "do i really make it THAT obvious?"

"mmm kinda? i don't know, but knowing you, you will when you guys are acting"

"yeah yeah whatever. let's go to peyton and spencer's little get together." i say pulling him from the couch

"ughhhh nooo." he says

"yes let's go. i'm driving"

"um no, you drive like a psycho." he says

"i don't care let's go."

~time skip~
we arrive at the list's house. i see everyone's car including jacob.

"i thought you said jacob wasn't coming!" i whisper yell to peyton as she opens the door

"oops? cmon girl you gotta tell him soon enough. i'm sure he likes you too!" she says

"yeah right. like he would ever like me"

"who would ever like you?" jacob says. i freeze

"um this um"

"oh this boy that recently followed her on insta. she's been texting ALL night and day." peyton says. jacobs smile drops and his face is filled with jealousy

"oh, cool i guess. nice to see you y/n." jacob says pulling me into a hug

"y-yeah! nice to see you too" i say quickly hugging him back and pulling away. "is your bar open?" i ask peyton. she nods "great! bye!" i run off to the bar

jacobs pov

"she's talking to another guy?" i tell xolo and we watch y/n drink shots with tanner

"i don't know man, she might be? but i doubt it" xolo says.

"let's go drink with her." i say

"alright let's go."

y/n pov

"heyyy!!! you guys coming to drink with us!" i say slurring my words

"well more like you y/n, you're the only one drinking and wasted." tanner says making xolo and jacob giggle

"oh shut up tanner!" i say "cmon xolo! jacob! drink!"

"alright fine, just for you." jacob says

"ohh just for me huh?" i say teasing with a smirk

"oh s-shut up." he says

we've been playing a couple drinking games. xolo and i are the most drunk, honestly, we always are the most drunk. we are all on the couch talking about random things

"sooo y/n tell us about this boy you met." hannah asks

"oh you know, he's good looking but not for me." i say lying

"what's his nameee?!" mary says

"oh um-

"oh quit the lying y/n!" xolo says standing up, slurring his words doing everything wrong since he's drunk. "we all know you like jacob!"

all our eyes widen

"oh my gosh. that just came out, but it's okay! because jacob likes you too!"

"i'm so sorry omg" xolo says slapping his hand over his mouth

"oh fuck me" i say putting my face in the couch pillows

"i'm sure jacob would love to" peyton says

"PEYTON!" me and jacob say at the same time

"y/n, let's talk yeah?" jacob says

"sure, where?" i say

"GO UPSTAIRS AND DO MORE THAN TALKING!" peyton says. spencer covers her mouth with her hands

"um lets just talk outside." jacob says dragging me out

"mhm. pretty much." he says

i smile blushing, i swing back and forth on my toes and heels

"what now?" i ask

"not sure" jacob says

"ASK HER OUT YOU IDIOT!" peyton says

"OH MY GOSH PEYTON HOW DID U GET OUT OF THE CLOSET? I LOCKED IT!" xolo says

"I KICKED IT OPEN?! I THINK I BROKE THE LOCK" she says "SORRY SPENCER"

"i'm going to KILL YOU!" they all run around

"well, she's dead" jacob says

"oh yeah, big time" i sit on the floor. "sorry my head is spinning" i say

he sits in front of me. "no worries. so y/n i've been meaning to ask you" he grabs my hands into his "will you go out with me and maybe be my girlfriend?" he says

"NOOO SHES MINEEEEE" peyton says

"SHUT UP" spencer says tackling her

"OW!" peyton says "JUST KIDDING IM OK. Y/N U BETTER SAY YES"

"um well?" jacob says

"no" i say

"what? n-no?" he says "but i thought you liked-

i cut him off with a kiss.

"i was kidding jay, of course i'll go out with you and be your girlfriend" i say. he smirks and brings me into another kiss

"i've been waiting to do that forever."

"me too. but looks like we will be doing it more since you're my new love interest." he says smirking
