Welcome my wonderful creatures,

I just want to give you a backstory to the existence of the tale you're probably going to read in a minute.

Basically, I submitted this work for the writing competition (the details are now irrelevant as the contest is over). I didn't win, but because I quite enjoy the story I wrote, I decided that I wouldn't delete it.
