Jily: The Return

Vistit from the Weasleys (Part 1)

   James' POV

   The next day, during breakfast an owl flew into the room and crashed onto the table. Petunia had shrieked and Dudley yelled. Harry had covered his ears with hands from the loud noise. Lily sighed and picked up the owl and it perked up quickly. She grabbed the letter and read it.

   "What does it say, Little Red?" Sirius asked finally.

   Lily looked up from the letter. "Apparently, before the profit released us being alive, Harry's friend had told his family we were alive. They hadn't believed him until the profit the news. So they had talked and are asking for a day they may come over, and catch up. It would be nice to see Molly again."

   I smiled. "They sure as hell can come over!" I think Lily has given up on correcting my language infront of Harry, because she had responded somewhat similarly.

   "Hell yes!" She had responded.

   Harry's look on his face was priceless! I wish someone had taken a picture of it. When he had recovered from that short shock, he had a big smile plastered on his face. "They can come?"

   "Of course, chap! We've known the Weasleys for ages, so we have nothing against them!" I said.

   "Can we invite Hermione?"

   I thought for a moment. "Is Hermione that young girl with bushy brown hair?"

   He nodded enthusiastically and we all laughed.

   Lily replied to him. "Of course, Hazza. Go write her a letter right now, inviting her tomorrow. We'll get her at her house."

   Harry got up from the table and ran off to his room. Petunia was about to say something to him but Lily shot her a look.

   "I gave him permission, he needn't to excuse himself," she said.

   Petunia pouted and excused herself from the table.

   Harry's POV

   I had gotten my quill, ink and some parchment and sat at my desk, writing a letter to Hermione.

    Dear Hermione,

It's Harry Potter. How's your holiday been? Mine has been great. Ron's family had written to us asking for them to visit. My parents have agreed and  they're coming tomorrow.

I had asked my parents if I could invite you over, and they have approved of you coming. If you would like to come, send back a letter with Hedwig by tonight.
