"No, but that's when it first went wrong. A hundred years ago, like you said. All the news channels, they just shut down overnight." Lynda explained.
"But that was me." The Doctor said quietly, "I did that."
"There was nothing left in their place. No information. The whole planet just froze. The government, the economy, they collapsed. That was the start of it." Lynda shook her head looking back down at her planet, "One hundred years of hell."
"Oh my." The Doctor gulped and followed her sorrowful stare, "I made this world."

Emma grunted when the corner of a box nicked her shoulder as she attempted to dodge it. She knew that under her clothes she was black and blue. With a loud wheeze she jumped as the pole swept under her feet. Huffing out a deep breath she tried to ignore the splashing of another contestant falling into the water.
"Em-oof!"
The brunette moved out of the way of another box to see Dean clinging onto the red pole as it swung around. She gasped and readied herself to jump once more before rushing over to catch him.
Emma inhaled the deepest breath her tight lungs would allow and jumped, immediately moving into position to pull Dean back onto the platform. "Dean! When I say let go! You let go!"
She planted her feet and raised her hands, counting down for the right moment. "Let go!" Dean slipped off the pole crashing down onto the smaller brunette with a groan. They quickly jumped up and got themselves ready to jump again but the pole began to slow. They had passed. They were in the final round.
"You okay?" Dean asked Emma when he noticed her eyes becoming unfocused and her shallow breaths.
"Can't-" She cut herself off by coughing, Emma leaning into his arms as he quickly pulled her off the course. He murmured comforting words as his worried green eyes swept over her.
"What can I do?" He asked desperately as she began to cry.
Emma shook her head and tried to focus on breathing slowly but it wasn't working. She had no inhaler on her and no Rose around to help. "...Haler." She coughed out, wincing hard the sharp pain in her chest. She whimpered, her head falling onto his chest when they finally moved into the dark waiting room.
"Haler?" Dean furrowed his brows and pulled her out of his arms to cup her cheeks, lifting her head up to look at him.
Emma whined as his body heat was torn away. She tried to breathe through her nose slowly but choked out a cry when she could barely take in a fraction of a breath. She weakly slapped his chest before bringing up her hand to mime an inhaler.
Dean's eyes widened as he gulped, "Inhaler?" He guessed correctly, wincing when she nodded. "Do you have one with you?"
With a grimace at her negative response, he looked around the room. He nodded and set his lips into a tight smile and moved her so she had her back to the wall with him right in front of her. "Okay..." He breathed out, a tremor in his voice as he let one hand drop from her jaw to her hand.
Dean placed Emma's hand on his chest so she could feel his slow breaths without crowding her. He brushed some of her tears away and tapped her nose fleetingly attempting to send her a playful smile. "You gotta breathe with me, Emma." He said quietly, trying not to show his panic as she watched the young woman cry. "Can you do that? Can you breathe with me?"
