"Today, I'll be taking you to my backstory on why I yell at the trash can."

"Good, go on." That was the idiotic Qibli.

"Shut up." I snapped.

"So once, during the torture of a sleepover, I was pushed next to the trash can-"

"SHIP." Kinkajou shouted.

"SHUP UP!" I roared. "ANYWAYS, I was sitting next to the trash can when suddenly, BLAM." I made a big gesturing thingy with my hands, whacking Glory in the face.

"OW!" She yelled.

"HOW DARE YOU HIT GLORY?" Deathbringer bellowed.

"STOP IT!" Moon cried.

"YEAH, STOP IT!" Qibli agreed.

"WILL EVERYONE JUST LISTEN TO M-" I tried to yell, but of course, they didn't listen to me.

SIGH.

"WHY CAN'T WE GO FIVE MINUTES WITHOUT A SHOUTING MATCH?" Tsunami roared.

"YOU'RE SHOUTING TOO!" Turtle shouted.

"STOP SHOUTING AT TSUNAMI!" Riptide hollered.

"WHAT IS GOING ON?" Sunny cried, still stealing Clay's chips.

"Everyone shut up." That was Starflight, who barely made a dent in the yelling.

"What the what is going on here?"

Everyone turned to find Peril, peeking into our dormitory.

Clay quickly shoved the chips in Sunny's direction.

"oo! Thanks." Sunny said.

"They are all being idiotic." Starflight said, without looking up from his book.

"Look who's talking." Tsunami snapped.

"Gotta go guys." Clay started.

"OH MY GOSH SO I WAS PUSHED NEXT TO THE TRASH CAN THEN BAM IT FELL ON ME AND TRASH WENT ALL OVER ME AND I WAS MAD SO I STARTED YELLING AT IT AND I NEVER FINISHED."

There. Said it.

"Trash went all over you?" Qibli asked. "Makes no difference. You are trash."

"Qibli!" Moon said disapprovingly.

"GUYS! Urgent news?" Peril demanded.

We all turned to her.

"All the known residents of the IceWing family is sick." Peril said.

"WHAT?" I yelped. "Why am I not sick?"

"Probably because you are always sick." Deathbringer said with a shrug.

"How is my family? What is the sickness?"

"Your family is sick, but fine." Peril said with a growl. "And it's uhh, I dunno. You have to ask the nurses."

I rushed to the nurse's office.

I didn't point out that most of the nurses weren't actually nurses.

Bullfrog for instance.

Mayfly was tending to my sister, Icicle.

She hissed at Mayfly and thrashed around.

Mayfly looked genuinely annoyed. "HOLD STILL!" she snapped.

"NO!" Icicle howled.

"What is wrong with my sister?" I demanded. "Peril said I come to you to find out what this illness is. WHAT IS IT?"

"Bullfrog knows." Mayfly said.

I pounced (not literally, mind you) on him, who was inspecting Snowfall, the queen of IceWings (Apparently).

"WHAT IS THIS ILLNESS CALLED?" I nearly roared.

"Winter. Calm down!" Moon protested.

"What?" Bullfrog asked.

"THE ILLNESS."

"Oh." Bullfrog said. "Uhh-"

I wanted to throttle him.

"I think it's called, coronavirus. Maybe. not sure."
