Me and Loki's conversation had been going pretty smoothly so far. We seemed to enjoy each other's company a lot and he was a very interesting person to talk too. He told me all about his backstory in Asgard and about his pranks he used to pull on people around the palace. He looked very happy when speaking about his mother but not so much at the mention of his father. He never really went into much detail about them but I never persuaded him to tell me anything as I didn't want to rush into anything that might upset him.

When it came to talking about my backstory, there wasn't really much I could mention to him. Being trapped in the same place for a vast section of your life does have its downsides when your trying to label some exciting things that had happened throughout your younger years. Now that I was thoroughly thinking it through, I just realised how much of my childhood I had missed out on. I had no exact memories of my time in HYDRA other than widely obvious things that had happened to me, not that I wanted to remember them anyway. So basically I had no recognition of anything that had happened at all to me in my lifetime.

I presumed Loki had noticed that I was struggling on coming up with any fascinating things to say, and so he had basically carried the whole conversation with me chipping into some funny things he had said.

That was until he had asked me about the subject that still shook me to this day. The real reason I wasn't keen on the subject was that I barely had any answers myself, so talking about it in context wasn't really doing me any favours.

"So, you mentioned you had powers, what are they?" He asked.

"Um yes I do, basically my mind is very powerful : I can move stuff with it, read peoples thoughts and can partly control people with it but I'm not so good at that" I answered him.

He looked very surprised and shocked at the things I could do. "That's very interesting."

I laughed at the same time as speaking. "Thank you." I looked down whilst smiling.

"So can you read my mind then?"

I looked up at him again before answering. "Well yes I can, but only if you want me too, I don't like invading peoples privacy. I did too much of that in my past."

He smirked at me and was quite for a few seconds before speaking again. "You know, your a very kind person y/n."

"Thank you, I try to make up for the years of being such a threat to people."

"I know how you feel."

I smiled at that before walking over and collecting the TV remote to switch it on. Loki just stared at me and looked confused on what I was doing.

"Hm I see you have one too." He said whilst walking over to where I was now standing.

"What.....a TV?" I was a bit confused, I mean I know he was from a different realm but I didn't know that it was that different.

"Yes I've seen them around the Avengers Tower but we never had them on Asgard so I never really understood them."

I just smiled at him before turning my head back round to the TV. "It's not that hard to get used to when you've had it for a while, I can put something on it to watch if you'd like?"

"Sure, it seems like we have lots of time anyway. By the sounds of what they were discussing when I was there, it will keep them occupied for a while."

I wanted to ask what they were speaking about but I figured that It wouldn't be such a good idea as I didn't want the Avengers too think I was nosy.

I decided on something to put on the TV to watch whilst Loki just watched me. I did ask him what genre he would preferably enjoy but he wasn't much help as he looked as puzzled as ever.

I sat down on my bed and Loki sat down beside me. He crossed over one of his legs and lay back down on the bed. He looked very satisfied with my pink and white fluffy duvet.

We barely even watched what was on the TV we just spent our time chatting and enjoying each other's company. He wasn't as bad as they made him out to be on the News in fact if I didn't know any better, I would have said he was a very nice person. I don't know if that was just me or not, but I felt extremely happy for the first time in a long while.

Whenever I clicked buttons on the remote I noticed him still furrowing his eyebrows in confusion and tilting his head to the side to try and get a better view of what I was doing and understand better on how it worked. Eventually he looked like he could apprehend as much as he could.

I caught him staring at me a few times but I didn't look back at him as I didn't want to create embarrassment for him, so I just carried on watching the TV and ignored his glare.

He was smiling the majority of the time we were together apart from when we were debating what colour was the best. His reasoning was that green was the best but I debated back to him that it was such a dull colour. My opinion was that f/c was the best option as it just worked with anything. He rolled his eyes at my comment before laughing after a few seconds. I knew green was kind of "his colour" but I never really understood why he chose it. I tried to question him this but his reply was that it was just simply the best.

After 3 hours or so, there was a knock on the door. Loki insisted that he opened the door without the person seeing him and quickly teleporting away beside me and when the person came into the room we would scare the shit out of them but I politely declined his offer as I didn't want to ruin my chances of making new friends with an Avenger. He wasn't very happy at this either but I just laughed and went to open the door without any pranks being involved whatsoever.

I opened the door to see Steve standing there whilst there was a little grin on his face.

Bucky often told me a lot about Steve as they were best friends and I couldn't wait for the day that I could finally meet him. He was a lot more happy-looking than I predicted he would look like. I thought he would be a lot more strict and serious, after all he was in the army.

"Hi y/n can you please come downstairs, we need to talk to you." He asked.

"Sure give me 2 mins." I smiled whilst walking away from him.

He started walking away but before he left he turned around again. "Oh and bring Loki with you too."

"Ok thank you."

I walked back over to see Loki looking as annoyed as ever with his arms and legs crossed still laying on my bed.

"You ok there?" I asked him whilst raising my brows.

He sighed and looked at me. "Do I have to go back down there, I was just starting to enjoy myself for once in a very long time."

I laughed at his comment before trying to reason with him that he must have wanted us both to go for a reason.

"Besides I don't want you snooping  around my room whilst I'm gone anyway."

"I would never dream of the sort." He replied.

And with that thought still in my mind, I smiled at him before we both made our way downstairs.
